Lovable vs Bolt, and a third option when the project is a website
Lovable and Bolt are AI builders where you chat and an agent writes real code. Lovable calls itself a full stack AI development platform for web apps; Bolt builds apps and websites with coding agents and its own cloud. OneCraft Code mode is narrower: it writes business websites only, with the store, forms and publishing included.

The short verdict
Pick Lovable for a web application with logins, a backend and a team working in shared workspaces with Git. Pick Bolt for apps, dashboards and prototypes where you want to connect services such as Supabase, Stripe and Expo. Pick OneCraft when the project is a business website and you want commerce, enquiries, a domain and checks on every change without wiring them yourself.

Where Lovable is better
Full stack apps with logins
Lovable builds web applications with authentication, a backend and AI features, which OneCraft cannot: its sites are static with no visitor accounts.
Teams that share credits
Lovable workspaces support unlimited members sharing one credit pool. A OneCraft site belongs to one owner.
Where Bolt is better
Connect any service
Bolt connects to Supabase, Stripe, GitHub, Netlify, Expo and MCP servers. OneCraft has fixed built in parts and no outside services.
Where OneCraft is different
Made for one job
OneCraft writes websites on a known starter with rules for responsive layout, accessibility, metadata and reduced motion, which lets it check every change against those rules before it finishes.
Business parts already built
Store, discount codes, shipping, pickup, downloads, tickets, enquiry forms into an inbox, visit stats, SEO settings and custom domains come with the site.
A no code mode beside it
Sections mode builds the site from tested sections edited in panels, for owners who never want to see code, with a one way eject into Code mode later.
Lovable and Bolt in one paragraph each
Lovable describes itself as an AI software engineer for the web: chat to build apps with real code, a cloud backend, Git sync and workspaces where everyone shares credits. Bolt offers coding agents that pick a model per task, Bolt Cloud for hosting, databases and integrations, and connections to Supabase, Stripe, GitHub and Expo, priced in tokens.
Where the third option fits
Most small business projects are websites, not apps: pages, a store, an enquiry form and a domain. OneCraft Code mode writes exactly that and stops there, so the business parts are already built and every change is checked by a build and a layout test before it can go live.
A fair test
Give all three the same brief, such as a course site with a curriculum and an enrolment form. Compare the first result, the cost in credits or tokens, how a follow up change is handled, and how many steps it takes to get the site live on your domain with payments working.
Who should stay with Lovable or Bolt
If you are building an app with users, data and logic, Lovable or Bolt are the right family of tools; pick by whether you prefer Lovable workspaces or Bolt integrations. If your project is a business website, OneCraft gives you less to wire and more checks.
Questions people ask
Is Lovable or Bolt better for a website?
Both can build marketing sites, and both lean toward apps. Lovable is strong for full stack apps with workspaces and Git; Bolt for connecting services and building apps or dashboards. If the project is only a business website, a website specific builder such as OneCraft may need less setup.
Which writes better code?
All three write real code. OneCraft requires each change to pass a type check, a linter, the production build and a headless browser layout test at three widths before it finishes, and rolls back a failed turn. Lovable and Bolt describe their own testing on their sites.
Can I take the code with me?
Lovable says you own your code and offers Git sync; Bolt connects to GitHub for version control. OneCraft keeps a git history inside the product and lets you download a zip of the current version at any time, without repository sync.
Which is cheapest?
Each bills differently: Lovable in credits, Bolt in tokens, OneCraft in credits at 1 per US cent of model use plus 1 per build. OneCraft measured generations averaged about 14 credits and chat turns about 4. Run the same brief in each to compare real costs.
Can any of them build a mobile app?
Bolt connects to Expo for mobile apps, and Lovable focuses on web applications. OneCraft generates an Expo app from a Code mode site, previewed in a phone frame, which you build and submit with EAS under your own Apple and Google developer accounts.
