Fencing flyer example with per metre prices by style
A fencing flyer usually lands with two households at once, because most dividing fences are paid for by both neighbours. These three designs for Goldwash Fencing, a fictional Ballarat business, print Colorbond from $85 a metre, price every style per metre and offer to invoice each neighbour for their half.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

The three designs
The photo and four styles design opens with a steel fence photo, then "Colorbond from $85" and a dark panel with four styles: steel, timber, pool and gates. It works as a general letterbox flyer. The neighbour split brochure has an angled header with the headline and a "quote within 48 hours" seal, then a story column on sharing a fence and three features. Drop it in both letterboxes on a street where fences are old. The price per metre table is the reference sheet: eight styles in a clean table with a caption about splitting invoices, best handed over at a measure or posted on a community page where people compare prices.
What this flyer must carry
The price per metre for each style and height, what is included (supply, installation, posts, GST), extras such as gates, automation and removal, the quote turnaround, the area and the business details. A boundary fence in Victoria falls under the Fences Act 1968, which generally has neighbours share the cost of a sufficient dividing fence, so the flyer offers split invoices. Pool barriers must meet AS 1926.1 and be certified, so the flyer names the standard. Goldwash prints its ABN; whether a fencing job also needs builder registration depends on its value and scope, so check with the Victorian building regulator before relying on an ABN alone.
How to adapt this flyer
For a rural fencer, use the table design for post and wire, ringlock and electric fencing priced per kilometre or per hundred metres, with the strainer post price. For a pool fence specialist, use the brochure design and give the story column to the inspection process and certificate. For a fence and gate automation business, the four styles design works with sliding gates, swing gates, intercoms and remotes, each with a starting price.
What makes these work
Every style priced the same way
The table design gives eight rows the same three columns: style, height and detail, price per metre. Colorbond at $85, treated pine at $95, hardwood at $125, pool fencing at $210 and $390. Comparing styles on one unit is how people choose a fence, and a table does it at a glance.
The neighbour split solves the real obstacle
The brochure design gives its whole story column to sharing a fence: one quote to both households, two invoices. A fence often stalls because one neighbour has to chase the other for money; taking that job away is a reason to pick this fencer.
Pool fencing names its standard
Pool fences are described as built to AS 1926.1 and ready for the barrier inspection. Pool owners in Victoria must have a compliant barrier, and a fencer who names the standard is telling them the job will pass, not just look right.
Questions people ask
Who pays for a dividing fence in Victoria?
Usually both neighbours, in equal shares, for a sufficient dividing fence under the Fences Act 1968, although either can pay more for a fancier fence. Neighbours should agree in writing, and the Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria helps when they cannot. That is why Goldwash offers to address one quote to both households and send two invoices.
Should a fencing flyer list prices per metre or per job?
Per metre, with the height stated, because boundaries vary so much. A 30 metre back fence in steel at $85 a metre is about $2,550, which the reader can work out at the letterbox. Add fixed prices for gates, automation and removal so the extras are not a surprise.
What standard does a pool fence have to meet?
In Australia, pool barriers are built to AS 1926.1, which sets the height, gaps, non climbable zones and self closing gates, and Victorian owners must have the barrier inspected and certified. A fencing flyer should name the standard, as this one does, and say whether the price includes the gate hardware.
How many rows can a flyer price table hold?
The table in this design holds up to fourteen rows and three columns, and the example uses eight with a caption. All cells are left aligned and there is no per column alignment, so keep the price column short, for example "$85 / m". Drag the column borders to give the description column more room.
Which fencing design is best for a street letterbox drop?
The neighbour split brochure, because it speaks to both houses that share a fence and gives them a reason to talk to each other. Drop it on streets with old paling fences, where replacement is due. Keep the table design for the second contact, at the measure, when the customer is comparing styles.

Pool service flyer with weekly plans and a green pool rescue
A pool service flyer reaches two very different readers: someone with a green pool before a party, and someone who wants never to think about the pool again. These three designs for Saltcell Pool Care, a fictional Gold Coast business, lead with a green to clean rescue in five days and print weekly care at $49 a visit, chemicals included.
Pest control flyer with a termite inspection offer
A pest control flyer has a deadline built in: termites do the damage while nobody is looking, so the flyer has to give a reason to book this month. These three designs for Banksia Barrier Pest Solutions, a fictional Perth business, offer a $149 termite inspection until Saturday 31 October 2026 and print the general pest price beside it.
Roofing flyer example with a free inspection and restoration price
A roofing flyer works best when it lands before the problem is visible, so it has to sell an inspection rather than a repair. These three designs for Tallowbark Roofing, a fictional crew in North Geelong, lead with a free roof inspection, put the $4,900 restoration price in writing and show the same roof before and after.
