Locksmith flyer with 24 hour rates and rekey prices
A locksmith flyer is usually found by someone standing outside a locked door, so the after hours price and the response time matter more than anything else on it. These three designs for Tumblerwise Locksmiths, a fictional Brisbane business, promise a 30 minute response and print both call out rates, $95 in business hours and $180 after hours.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

The three designs
The two column price brochure is the detailed version: "Locked out?" in large type, the 30 minute promise, a round seal, a prices paragraph and three features for rekeying, smart locks and house and car work. It is the one to letterbox and leave at real estate offices. The photo and promise design shows a deadbolt and key, a large "Tumblerwise" name, a dark quote panel with the response promise and three bars, and suits the side of a van or a strata noticeboard. The photo and three services design puts "Locked out? Help in 30 minutes" beside a key in a door knob, with three cards and a large phone number, and works best as a Facebook post or a fridge magnet sized handout.
What this flyer must carry
The response promise and where it applies, both call out rates with the hours that define them, the rekey price, the services (house, car, smart locks), the phone number in large type and the licence line. In Queensland, people who install, repair or service locks for reward generally need a security provider licence for security equipment installation, so the flyer prints a fictional licence number, 4103552, on every design. Every price includes GST.
How to adapt this flyer
For a commercial locksmith, use the brochure design for master key systems, access control and after hours callouts for businesses, with a contract rate instead of household prices. For an automotive locksmith, use the services design and turn the three cards into spare keys, transponder programming and lockouts, priced by vehicle age. For a locksmith working with real estate agents, keep the quote design and lead with a same day rekey between tenants, because property managers buy on turnaround.
What makes these work
Both call out rates are printed
The brochure design states the $95 business hours rate and the $180 after hours rate, and defines after hours as 6pm to 7am and all weekend. Locksmith complaints usually come from a surprise night rate; printing it turns a sore point into a reason to trust the business.
Rekeying is sold as the cheaper fix
Rekey from $120 per lock with two keys cut appears on all three designs. Most people who lose keys or move house assume they need new locks, and learning that a rekey keeps the hardware and costs less is the sort of advice that makes a flyer worth keeping.
The response promise has a measured number behind it
The brochure seal reads "30 min response, 24 hours" and the note under it says it is the average inner Brisbane arrival time across 2025. A response time with its basis is believable; "fast service" is not.
Questions people ask
Why print an after hours rate on a locksmith flyer?
Because that is when most locksmith calls happen and when people feel most exposed to being overcharged. Printing $180 after hours, with the hours defined, lets a reader decide before calling. It also protects the business: a customer who saw the price on the fridge is far less likely to dispute it at the door at midnight.
Does a Queensland locksmith need a licence number on the flyer?
Queensland generally requires people who install, repair or maintain security equipment, including locks, for reward to hold a security provider licence. Printing the licence number shows the business is licensed and lets customers check it. This example uses a fictional number, 4103552, on all three designs.
Is rekeying really cheaper than replacing a lock?
Usually, when the lock itself is in good condition. Rekeying changes the pins so the old keys stop working, and keeps the existing hardware. That is why the flyer leads with rekey from $120 per lock with two keys cut, and only mentions new hardware for smart lock upgrades, which customers choose for convenience.
Should a locksmith flyer include a photo?
A simple photo of a lock and key helps the flyer be recognised at a glance, which matters when someone is looking for it in a hurry. Two of these designs use one; the brochure relies on its headline and seal instead. Avoid photos of break ins or damage, which make a flyer feel alarming rather than helpful.
Which locksmith design fits a Facebook cover?
Each of these designs has a native Facebook cover version at 820 by 312, which keeps the name, headline and phone number and drops the detail. Switching size swaps in that layout, and style changes stay with each size. Check the cover on a phone, where the edges are cropped by the page layout.

Electrician flyer with a call out fee, prices and a licence number
An electrician flyer has to answer three questions before it reaches the bin: is this person licensed, what does a visit cost, and how fast can they come. These three designs for Brindlewire Electrical, a fictional three van business in Newcastle NSW, print the licence number, a $95 call out and fixed prices for the jobs people actually book.
Security camera installation flyer with package prices
A security camera installation flyer sells a finished system at a fixed price, installed by someone licensed to do it, because that is what a homeowner is comparing against a box from the electronics store. These three designs for Tallowgate Security Installs, a fictional Brisbane business, lead with a 4 camera 4K system installed for $1,590 and the Queensland licence number.
Tiler flyer with a bathroom retile package and per metre rate
A tiler flyer is competing with the homeowner's fear of a bathroom being out of action for weeks, so the time on the job matters as much as the price. These three designs for Herringwell Tiling, a fictional Adelaide business, sell a bathroom retile from $4,200 in five working days, waterproofing included, with floors at $85 a square metre.
