Restaurant menu websites by cuisine
Each example is a one page restaurant site with the full menu, prices, opening hours and a contact or booking section, and pickup ordering paid online. Cuisine decides which menu layout fits: photos for food that sells on looks, printed columns for long menus.

Choosing a menu layout
The menu section has two layouts. Photo rows put a square photo beside every dish and suit short menus of food that photographs well, such as sushi, burgers and ramen. Printed columns set each section as a column with dotted leaders to the price, like the menu on the table, and fit long menus such as Thai and Indian on one screen. Both show Add buttons when ordering is on, or Choose for a dish with options such as a protein or a size.
How pickup ordering works
Each dish is a product in the store admin, grouped by collection, and the menu section lists the collections in order. With the store switched on, a bar at the bottom of the screen counts the dishes, the cart offers pickup at the restaurant, and the customer pays through Stripe Checkout on the restaurant's account. Marking an order ready for pickup emails the customer. Without the store, the menu still shows every dish and price.
What every menu site here includes
Opening hours, a note on allergies, the address and a way to book or ask about catering. Menu sites also install as a web app on phones by default.
Keeping a menu honest
Menus change more often than any other page on a small business site, so the dishes live in the store admin rather than in the page text. Archiving a dish, changing a price or marking something sold out updates the published menu at the next catalog sync without editing the page. Allergen notes stay in plain words under the menu, because they must be accurate and cannot be left to a badge.
Every page in this collection
- Bakery menu website with next day pre-orders
A bakery sells out early, and the customers who miss out are the ones it most wants to keep. This one page example for an invented Launceston bakery turns them into pre-orders: order by 2 pm, collect warm from 7 am the next morning, with every loaf, pastry and pie shown with its photo and price.
- Burger restaurant menu website built for order ahead
A burger joint's website has one job: get an order in before the customer reaches the queue. This one page example for an invented Newcastle smash burger shop puts the order button in the hero, shows every burger with a photo, and explains pickup in three steps so first timers know what to expect.
- Indian restaurant menu website with a lunch thali offer
An Indian restaurant often runs two businesses from one kitchen: dinner and a lunch trade built on a set meal. This one page example for an invented Harris Park restaurant shows the full menu in printed columns, then gives the $22 weekday thali its own section, before catering enquiries for weddings and pujas.
- Ramen restaurant menu website for a late night shop
Ramen does not travel well, so a ramen shop taking pickup orders has to explain how it packs the soup. This one page example for an invented Melbourne laneway shop does that in the menu intro, tells the eighteen hour broth story and makes the late Friday and Saturday hours easy to find.
- Sushi restaurant menu website with pickup ordering
A hand roll bar has a menu short enough to fit on one screen and food that sells on looks. This one page example for an invented Surry Hills counter shows every dish with a photo and price, takes pickup orders paid online, and explains why a hand roll should be eaten within a minute.
- Thai restaurant menu website with a printed style menu
Thai menus are long and organised by type, and regulars know exactly what they want. This one page example for an invented Fortitude Valley restaurant shows the menu like the printed one on the table, in columns with dotted leaders to the price, with protein choices and a note about chilli.
