HVAC flyer example with a tune up offer and install prices
An HVAC flyer has to sell maintenance months before anyone feels the heat, which means the offer has to be cheap, specific and dated. These three designs for Larkspur Air Heating and Cooling, a fictional Denver company, sell a $79 AC tune up prepaid by Thursday, December 31, 2026 and print mini split installs from $2,400.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

The three designs
The geometric design uses bold blue diamonds, a two line headline and three service columns, followed by a quote panel and a "how every visit runs" paragraph. It reads well as a door hanger or a mailer. The offer design puts "Beat the heat with a $79 tune up" in very large type with a dark pill reading "Prepay by Dec 31", then a dark band of services and three columns, which suits a Facebook post during the holiday period. The photo design pairs a technician with gauges at an outdoor unit with an orange headline panel and three cards, and is best for a website banner or a print ad where a real person at work builds trust.
What this flyer must carry
The offer with its price and deadline, what the service includes, the install price anchor, the payment option, the license and certification lines, the service area and a phone number. Technicians who handle refrigerant must be certified under EPA Section 608, which is why the flyers say "EPA certified technicians", and Denver requires contractors to be licensed for mechanical work, so a license number appears on two designs. All prices are in US dollars with no GST, and the offer date is written in the US format.
How to adapt this flyer
For a fall furnace campaign, keep the offer design and change the headline to a furnace safety check with a carbon monoxide test, timed to end before the first freeze. For a commercial HVAC contractor, use the geometric design and replace the household prices with a quarterly maintenance agreement and response times. For a heat pump specialist, use the photo design and lead with the utility rebate available in your area, but only after checking the current amount, since rebates change often.
What makes these work
The offer is timed to the slow season
Every design asks the customer to prepay $79 by Thursday, December 31, 2026 for a service in April or May 2027. That fills the technicians' diary in spring and gives the customer a fixed price before summer demand pushes it up. The date is printed in full, weekday included.
Twenty points make the tune up concrete
A "tune up" can mean anything. The flyers name the checks: coils cleaned, refrigerant and capacitor checked, drain line cleared, thermostat tested, and a 20 point checklist left on the unit. A list of work is what makes $79 feel like a service rather than a sales visit.
Financing is stated without a rate
The monthly payments line says "on approved credit" and "terms in writing first", with no interest rate. Advertising a rate triggers credit disclosure rules in the US, and a vague "0%" promise is the kind of claim that draws complaints. This wording invites the question without making an offer the company has not priced.
Questions people ask
When should an HVAC company send its AC tune up flyer?
Six to eight weeks before the first hot spell, or earlier with a prepay offer. Larkspur Air sells the spring service in November and December with a prepay deadline of December 31, 2026, so it has a booked diary before the busy season. A flyer that arrives during a heat wave competes with every emergency call.
Do I need to mention EPA certification on an HVAC flyer?
It is not a legal requirement to advertise it, but technicians who work with refrigerants must hold EPA Section 608 certification, and saying so tells the customer the people coming to the house are qualified. Keep the wording factual, as these designs do, rather than implying an EPA endorsement of the company.
Can I advertise financing on an HVAC flyer?
You can mention that monthly payments are available, but stating a rate, a monthly amount or a term can trigger US credit advertising disclosures. These flyers say "monthly payments on approved credit" and "terms in writing first", which invites a question without making a specific credit offer. Check the rules with your lender before printing numbers.
Which flyer size suits a door hanger or US mailer?
The flyer builder works in eight fixed sizes, from A4 portrait at 1240 by 1754 pixels to social formats, and has no US letter or door hanger preset. For print in the US, export the A4 version as PDF and ask the printer to fit it to letter size, which trims very little. For social posts, switch to the native Instagram or Facebook size instead.
Should an HVAC flyer show a photo of the technician?
A real technician at a real unit builds trust, as long as the photo is of your team or a neutral stock image that does not suggest a named person endorses you. The photo design here uses a technician reading gauges, cropped to the hands and equipment. Upload your own JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF up to 10 MB once the flyer is saved.

Gutter cleaning flyer with a flat rate and guard upgrade
A gutter cleaning flyer works when it arrives just before the reader starts worrying, and on the Central Coast that means the weeks before bushfire season. These three designs for Spoutwise Gutters, a fictional business, print one flat price per home, $180 for a single storey, and pair it with a reminder to clear gutters before the danger period.
Chimney sweep flyer for an autumn fireplace service in Bristol
A chimney sweep flyer has a deadline built in: people think about the flue on the first cold night, and by then the diary is full. These three designs for Flueworthy Sweeps, a fictional Bristol sweep, tell readers to book before the first frost, price the sweep at £65 and promise the certificate a home insurer asks for.
Pest control flyer with a termite inspection offer
A pest control flyer has a deadline built in: termites do the damage while nobody is looking, so the flyer has to give a reason to book this month. These three designs for Banksia Barrier Pest Solutions, a fictional Perth business, offer a $149 termite inspection until Saturday 31 October 2026 and print the general pest price beside it.
