Gutter cleaning flyer with a flat rate and guard upgrade
A gutter cleaning flyer works when it arrives just before the reader starts worrying, and on the Central Coast that means the weeks before bushfire season. These three designs for Spoutwise Gutters, a fictional business, print one flat price per home, $180 for a single storey, and pair it with a reminder to clear gutters before the danger period.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

The three designs
The bushfire season brochure leads with "$180 flat, single storey" on a green band with a circular photo, then a paragraph on clearing gutters before the danger period and a footer with flat prices and booking by text. It is the main letterbox flyer for spring. The price comparison table sets single storey, two storey and gutter guard side by side across seven rows, from price to time on site, and is the one to post in community groups. The photo and three bars design shows an eave and gutter under a tiled roof, a quote panel on bushfire risk and three bars for two storey homes, guard and photos, and suits a Facebook post or a real estate office.
What this flyer must carry
The flat prices and what they include (hand clearing, downpipe flushing, debris taken away, photos), the gutter guard upgrade price, the seasonal reason, the area (Gosford to The Entrance) and how to book. Gutter cleaning does not need a trade licence in NSW, so the flyer prints the ABN, but it is work at height, and SafeWork NSW expects falls to be managed, which customers increasingly ask about. The NSW Rural Fire Service lists clearing gutters as part of preparing a home, which is the reminder these designs use.
How to adapt this flyer
For a gutter guard installer, use the table design with mesh types and per metre prices, and move cleaning to the first row as a preparation step. For a business in a city without bushfire risk, use the photo design and tie the clean to the storm season or autumn leaf fall instead. For a combined gutter and roof wash business, the brochure design works with a bundle price for both services on the front.
What makes these work
A flat price per home
$180 for a single storey, whatever the gutter length, and $260 for two storeys. Customers cannot measure their own gutters, so per metre pricing makes them wait for a quote. A flat rate lets them book straight from the flyer.
The reason to book is seasonal and local
Two designs tie the clean to the NSW bushfire danger period and say dry leaves are the first thing an ember finds. A reason the reader already half believes, with a time attached, turns an optional chore into a job for this month.
Photos replace the ladder
Every design promises before and after photos sent to your phone. The customer cannot see the gutters without climbing up, so the photos are the proof of work, and they also show what a gutter guard would save next year.
Questions people ask
When is the best time to send a gutter cleaning flyer?
Four to six weeks before the season that gives people a reason: before the bushfire danger period in fire prone areas, or before autumn leaf fall and storm season elsewhere. On the Central Coast that means late winter and early spring. A flyer that arrives during a downpour competes with emergency callouts.
Should a gutter cleaning flyer mention bushfire safety?
If you work in a bushfire prone area, yes, and stick to what the fire service says. The NSW Rural Fire Service lists clearing gutters of leaves and debris as part of preparing a property. Avoid claiming a clean makes a home fire safe; say it removes one source of ember attack.
Is a flat rate fair for every single storey home?
For most suburban homes, yes; the time varies less than people think. Keep exceptions clear on the quote: very steep roofs, three storey access or heavily overgrown trees. Spoutwise says "any length of gutter" for single storey homes, which removes the reason to delay booking.
How should gutter guard be priced on a flyer?
Per metre installed, with what is included. Spoutwise prints $38 per metre with a clean before fitting. Customers can estimate from their roof size, and the flyer can point out that guard reduces future cleans, which is the reason most people upgrade.
Can I make the gutter flyer as an Instagram Story?
Yes. All three designs have a native Instagram Story version at 1080 by 1920, so switching size swaps in a tall layout made for it. The table is long at that size, so the photo and three bars design reads best as a story, with the brochure saved as the A4 print version.
How do I keep the flyer phone number readable when printed small?
Use the A4 size and make the number one of the largest text items, as the table design does in its call to action bar. If you print A5, reduce to fewer words rather than smaller text. Exports are RGB at 300 DPI for A4, which keeps type sharp at any common print size.

Pest control flyer with a termite inspection offer
A pest control flyer has a deadline built in: termites do the damage while nobody is looking, so the flyer has to give a reason to book this month. These three designs for Banksia Barrier Pest Solutions, a fictional Perth business, offer a $149 termite inspection until Saturday 31 October 2026 and print the general pest price beside it.
Chimney sweep flyer for an autumn fireplace service in Bristol
A chimney sweep flyer has a deadline built in: people think about the flue on the first cold night, and by then the diary is full. These three designs for Flueworthy Sweeps, a fictional Bristol sweep, tell readers to book before the first frost, price the sweep at £65 and promise the certificate a home insurer asks for.
HVAC flyer example with a tune up offer and install prices
An HVAC flyer has to sell maintenance months before anyone feels the heat, which means the offer has to be cheap, specific and dated. These three designs for Larkspur Air Heating and Cooling, a fictional Denver company, sell a $79 AC tune up prepaid by Thursday, December 31, 2026 and print mini split installs from $2,400.
