Coaching package proposal
Coaching package proposal for a six month executive program
A coaching package proposal tells the person paying what the coachee will work on, how progress will be visible, and what stays confidential. This example from an executive coach to a logistics company prices six months for a new operations director at $8,580 plus GST, with the number of sessions editable from 10 to 16.

Who a coaching proposal is really written for
When a company pays for coaching, the proposal has two readers. The sponsor, often a manager or HR, needs to justify the spend and see results. The coachee needs to trust that the sessions are a safe place to be candid. This example writes for both. It describes the coachee's situation in the sponsor's language: a promotion over former peers, delegation, the board. It sets goals that can be observed, reviewed with the manager three times. And it draws the confidentiality line in a numbered clause. The Global Code of Ethics that coaching bodies such as EMCC sign applies to sponsors and purchasers of coaching as well as to coaches, which is a reminder that the company paying is a party to the arrangement too. A proposal that skips the clause leaves the coachee guessing what will be reported.
How the package is priced
The default total is $8,580 plus GST, $9,438 in all: $2,400 for the intake and colleague interviews, twelve sessions at $420 and three goal reviews at $380. Sessions are the editable line: at 10 the subtotal falls to $7,740, at 16 it rises to $10,260, and the 50% deposit moves with it. The psychometric profile at $650 and six months of between session support at $120 are optional and marked as suggestions. Pricing the intake separately shows the sponsor that the colleague interviews are real work, about a day and a half, rather than an overhead hidden inside the session rate.
How to adapt this proposal
If the coachee pays for themselves, drop the three way reviews and simplify the confidentiality clause, since there is no sponsor to report to. If you coach groups or teams, price per participant instead of per session. Keep the goals to three and make them observable: chairing a meeting that ends on time, a decision delegated and not taken back. Put your rescheduling rule in the terms, because missed sessions are the most common dispute in coaching. If you use a psychometric tool, offer it as an option with a debrief, and make sure you are accredited to use it.
What makes this proposal work
Two clients, one document
The employer pays and Marcus is coached, and clause 2 says exactly what each receives: Meridian sees the goals, attendance and an agreed summary, the conversations stay private. Coaching sponsored by an employer fails when that line is unclear.
Progress is visible without breaking trust
Three three way reviews at $380 each, at the start, mid point and close, let the manager see progress against three written goals. The sponsor gets accountability; the coachee keeps confidentiality.
The package can be sized
Sessions are twelve at $420 with the quantity editable from 10 to 16, and two extras are optional. The company can match the program to its budget in the online proposal before accepting, without asking for a new quote.
Questions people ask
What should a coaching proposal include?
The coachee's situation and goals, how the coaching will run, what is delivered, the timeline, the price, and terms on confidentiality, rescheduling and cancellation. When an employer pays, add how progress will be shared with them. This example covers all of that, with three goal reviews involving the coachee's manager.
How much does executive coaching cost in Australia?
Rates vary widely with the coach's experience and the seniority of the coachee. This example prices sessions at $420 for 75 minutes, with $2,400 for an intake and 360 feedback, and $380 for each three way review, making $8,580 plus GST for a six month program of twelve sessions.
How many sessions should a coaching package have?
Enough to cover goal setting, practice and review: often 6 to 12 over three to six months. This example sets twelve fortnightly sessions over six months and lets the sponsor choose between 10 and 16 in the online proposal, with the total and deposit recalculating as the number changes.
What does the employer see in sponsored coaching?
Only what is agreed at the start. In this proposal Meridian receives the three agreed goals, attendance, and a closing summary written with the coachee. The content of sessions stays between coach and coachee. Writing that into the terms, as clause 2 does, protects the coaching relationship.
What happens if a coaching session is cancelled?
Set a rule and put it in the proposal. Here sessions moved with 24 hours notice are rescheduled free, and later cancellations count as held. If the company ends the program early with 30 days notice, sessions already held are payable and unused paid sessions are refunded.

Training workshop proposal priced per participant
A training workshop proposal should show the client what their people will practise, how the day is tailored, and how the price changes with the number of people in the room. This example from a Gold Coast training company to a property management agency prices a one day workshop for 18 at $7,780 plus GST, with participant numbers the client can set between 12 and 24.
Website design proposal example with an optional SEO add on
A website design proposal has to show the client what is wrong with the site they have, what the new one will do about it, and what each part costs. This example from a design studio to a three clinic physiotherapy practice opens with the practice's own analytics, prices the redesign at $19,850 plus GST, and leaves local search setup and a monthly care plan as options the client can tick.
Event planning proposal for a corporate end of year party
An event planning proposal has to show the client the night, the suppliers and the cost per guest, and set the dates by which they must confirm numbers. This example from a Brisbane planner to an engineering firm prices a riverside party for 120 at $31,160 plus GST, with guest numbers the client can set from 90 to 150 and a weather plan written into the terms.
