Proposal examples by service, each one priced line by line

A service proposal sells work the client cannot see yet, so it has to show the thinking, the plan and the price in a form the client can say yes to. Every example here is a whole proposal for an invented but plausible firm, from the restated brief to the signature row.

What every proposal here has in common

Each proposal follows the same order, because it is the order a buyer reads in: who you are, what they need, how you will do it, what they receive, when, what it costs, the terms, and how to accept. The price always sits in one pricing table, never scattered through the prose, so the client can see every line, the tax and the deposit in one place. Optional lines are priced in the same table and only count once the client ticks them in the online version, which is how a proposal can offer a search add on, a care plan or extra coaching sessions without a second document.

How the services differ

The structure is shared; the money is not. Agencies and software firms price by stage so a change request has an obvious home. Retainers price by the month with the term as the quantity. Coaches and trainers price per session or per participant and let the client choose the number. Professional firms such as accountants and lawyers carry the engagement terms their profession expects, from the scope of the engagement to how fees are estimated. Each page says why its pricing works for that kind of service and how to adapt it.

Choosing the right one to start from

Pick the example whose pricing shape matches yours, not the one in your industry. A bookkeeper who charges a fixed monthly fee has more in common with a marketing retainer than with an accounting engagement priced by the hour. Then change the brief, the approach and the terms to your own. Every proposal here prices in Australian dollars with GST shown as its own line, and each says whether a deposit is invoiced when the client accepts.
