Real estate video maker
Property video has a structural problem nobody warns you about. Most multiple listing services fine you for putting your branding in the tour, and your own advertising rules require your brokerage name on it. That is not a preference you can split the difference on. It means two exports of the same listing.

Two exports, not one file syndicated everywhere
The unbranded cut goes to the listing portal: no agent, no logo, no lower third, no contact details, closing on the address and the essentials. The branded cut goes on your own site, your social accounts and your channel: agent intro or outro, brokerage mark, contact details, everything the portal forbids. Building it here as one video and exporting twice is the practical route, because the watermark is a single toggle and the closing scene is one scene to swap.
The order buyers expect
Exterior establishing shot, the approach to the door, then the hall, then the social core in walking order, living to kitchen with a close detail on the worktop or the fittings, then dining. Then the main bedroom and its bathroom, then the remaining bedrooms and bathrooms, then whatever actually differentiates the property, the garden, the view, the outbuilding. A buyer should be able to sketch a floor plan from the video afterwards, which is why the order is the order somebody walks it in rather than the order the photographs came off the camera.
Fair housing covers the pictures, not just the words
This is the part that catches people. The federal regulation on discriminatory advertising covers words, phrases, photographs, illustrations, symbols and forms, and separately covers which media you select to run in. So the human models you show, the neighbourhood shots you cut in, a narration line like perfect for a young family, and even the audience you target the video at are all in scope. Keep the video about the building.
Where this tool fits and where it does not
Be clear about the trade. This builds a video from your listing photographs, not from a walkthrough shot on a gimbal, and the single most valued shot in property video is the continuous move through a doorway that shows how two rooms connect. A photo based video cannot make that claim. What it can do well is a fast, consistent, captioned social cut of every listing, produced the same way every time, plus a clean unbranded portal version. Use a filmed tour for the flagship instructions and this for the volume.
How it works, in three steps
Step 1
Upload the photos in walking order
Display order is what the director reads. Exterior first, then the sequence somebody would actually walk, and the differentiator last.
Step 2
Build the unbranded cut first
Watermark off, no agent name in the brief, closing scene on the address and the guide price. That is the file the portal takes.
Step 3
Duplicate and brand the second
Turn the watermark on, add the agent and brokerage to the closing scene, and export again for your own channels.

Limits worth knowing
- Eight photographs per generation, so a large property needs to be edited down or split across two videos.
- This produces a photo led video. There is no filmed walkthrough, no gimbal move and no continuous shot through a doorway.
- No floor plans, no virtual staging and no room measurement overlays.
- A price written into the brief is baked into the export, so a reduction means rebuilding and re-exporting.
Questions people ask
How long should a listing video be?
One to two minutes for a portal walkthrough, and fifteen to forty five seconds for the vertical social cut. Some portal products cap at two minutes outright, so build to that rather than to what the platform technically allows.
Should the agent appear?
In the branded cut, yes, because your own advertising rules generally require the firm to be identified. In the portal cut, no, and in many markets a branded file in the listing service is a fined offence.
Can I use drone shots?
Upload them as images and they will be used like any other picture. Flying the drone commercially is a separate licensing question in most countries, so check your own regulator before you fly rather than after.
What about UK portals?
They are stricter again. Property specific content only, no contact details, no external links, and some explicitly prohibit any text burned into images or video, which means turning captions off for that export.

Recruitment video maker
The thing to internalise before making one is that a recruitment video is a job advertisement. Which means the employment advertising rules apply to the pictures and the narration, not just to the text of the posting, and that a generic culture film with no role in it cannot do the job you made it for.
Corporate video maker
The recognisable failure is ninety seconds of aerials, hands on keyboards and rack focus over a voiceover of adjectives: innovative, trusted, global, purpose driven. No product in operation, no dated figures, no named person, closing on the logo. It is indistinguishable from every competitor's film and goes stale invisibly.
Salon video maker
Salon video runs on the transformation, and the transformation is the part regulators treat most seriously. A before and after is judged as a testimonial style claim, which means it has to be genuine, unmanipulated, and backed by signed dated proof that it is both.
