Sales pitch video maker

Outbound video splits into two jobs and only one of them belongs here. The one to one prospecting video, where a rep films themselves waving with the prospect's name on a whiteboard, is a camera job and this tool has no camera. The pitch asset that follows the reply is a build job, and that is what this is for.

The test for a one to one video

It is simple and unforgiving: would the same video work unchanged for any other prospect on the list? If it would, it is not a one to one video, and the reply rate lift attributed to personalised video does not appear. That lift comes from the thumbnail carrying the prospect's name, from the first five seconds saying their name, role and company out loud, and from one insight tied specifically to them. None of that survives being made once and sent to a hundred people.

What this tool cannot do, stated plainly

There is no webcam capture, no animated preview thumbnail, no per recipient variable in a video and no mail merge. There is also no filmed talking head, and cold outreach specifically wants one, because the face is the relationship. If personalised prospecting video is what you are looking for, a screen and webcam recorder built for sales is the right tool and this is not it.

What it does build well

The asset after the reply. A sixty second explanation of the one thing they asked about, built once and sent by every rep. A leave behind that follows a discovery call. A pricing or security explainer that answers the question that always comes up. A short walkthrough of the exact workflow that matters to a segment. Those are repeatable by design, and building them properly once beats each rep improvising a screen share.

The email carrying it has its own rules

A commercial email is covered by anti spam law regardless of how personalised it is: accurate headers, a non deceptive subject, a valid physical postal address, and opt outs honoured within a set window, with real per message penalties. In Europe, the tracking pixel is now treated as a separate question from the email itself, requiring its own explicit consent because it touches the recipient's device. Since view tracking is the same mechanism, video view analytics on European recipients is a consent question rather than a notice one.

How it works, in three steps

  1. Step 1

Decide which of the two videos you need

Personalised and one to one, or repeatable and one to many. They are different tools and mixing them produces a video that does neither job.

  2. Step 2

    Build one asset per objection

Security, pricing, implementation time. Each becomes a short video a rep can send by name, which beats one long overview nobody finishes.

  3. Step 3

    Keep it to one ask

Reply with a yes and we will send times. Stacking a deck, a case study and a calendar link turns one decision into none.

Limits worth knowing

Questions people ask

How long should a sales video be?

Thirty to sixty seconds for cold outreach and around a minute for a mid funnel follow up. Benchmark data across hundreds of thousands of business videos shows roughly two thirds of viewers finishing something under a minute against a fifth finishing something over twenty.

Does personalised video actually work better?

The reported lifts are large, including several times more replies and materially higher email click through, but they are attached to genuine one to one video. A template sent to a list is a different thing and does not inherit those numbers.

Can I splice in a clip from a customer call?

Only with the right consents. Around a dozen United States states require all parties to consent to a recording, and consent to record is not consent to redistribute the clip in marketing.

What should the email say?

Three or four sentences. Analysis of tens of thousands of prospecting emails finds the shortest ones get the highest reply rates, and the point of the video is that the email does not have to carry the argument.
