HR consultant flyer for contracts, policies and Fair Work help
An HR consultant flyer for small employers sells relief from a fear: getting a contract, an award or a dismissal wrong. These three designs for Karriward HR, a fictional consultancy in Perth WA, promise compliant contracts within a week at $385 a role, a twelve policy pack at $1,950, a Fair Work audit at $2,400 and an on call retainer at $440 a month, and they check first whether the business is in the national or the WA state system.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

The three designs
The brochure design is the full explanation: a plum header with "Compliant contracts.", a seal reading "Fixed fees GST incl", a "State or national?" paragraph and three priced services. It is the A4 flyer for business association events and the front counter of an accountant. The retainer design is shorter and friendlier, with "HR ON CALL, $440 A MONTH" on an indigo band, a photo of two colleagues talking, a paragraph on what the retainer covers and the other fixed fees underneath. Post it on LinkedIn for owners who manage staff themselves. The audit design is a bold case sheet for the $2,400 Fair Work audit: four check items, a "written report" panel and the contact block. Hand it to clients after a payroll scare or an underpayment story in the news.
What this flyer must carry
An HR consultant's flyer needs the services, the price basis, who it is for and how quickly work is delivered. In Western Australia it should also deal with the two systems. Companies are generally national system employers covered by the Fair Work Act, while sole traders, partnerships and some trusts are usually in the WA state system under the Industrial Relations Act 1979, with different awards and minimum conditions. The Small Business Development Corporation explains the split. HR consulting is not a licensed profession, so there is no number to print, but do not imply legal advice unless a lawyer provides it; say "HR advice" and refer legal disputes. Prices should include GST, and these do.
How to adapt this flyer
For an HR consultant on the east coast, remove the state system paragraph, since almost every private employer there is in the national system, and replace it with a line about the award covering your target industry. For a consultant focused on hospitality, lead with rostering and penalty rates, and turn the audit checks into a weekend pay rate check. For a recruitment focused HR firm, swap the policy pack for a hiring kit with job ads, interview guides and offer letters.
What makes these work
It asks the WA question first
The brochure design is headed "State or national?" and explains that sole traders and partnerships in Western Australia usually fall under the state system. Few flyers say this, and it is exactly the detail a Perth employer would not know to ask, which makes the consultant sound local and careful.
Every service has a fixed fee
Contracts $385 a role, policies $1,950, audit $2,400, retainer $440 a month, all including GST. HR advice is usually sold by the hour, so fixed fees remove the worry that one question will cost a day's profit.
The audit promises a report, not a verdict
The audit design lists four things checked (the system, pay rates, records, policies) and what the client receives: findings ranked by risk with the cost to fix each. An owner can picture the result before paying for it.
Questions people ask
Are all Perth businesses covered by the Fair Work Act?
No. In Western Australia, incorporated businesses are generally national system employers under the Fair Work Act, but sole traders, partnerships and some trusts usually fall under the WA state system. The two systems have different awards and rules, so an HR consultant there should check which applies before writing a single contract.
Can an HR consultant give legal advice on a dismissal?
An HR consultant can advise on process and good practice, but should not present that as legal advice unless a lawyer is giving it. If a claim is likely, refer the employer to an employment lawyer. Karriward describes its retainer as help with hard conversations, not legal representation, which keeps the flyer accurate.
Why price contracts per role instead of per hour?
Because employers think in roles: a new sales rep, a casual barista. A per role price lets them budget hiring costs, and roles under the same award often share most of a contract, so the consultant can still make a margin. Karriward charges $385 per role and promises delivery within a week.
Should an HR consultant post the retainer price on LinkedIn?
Yes, and the retainer design is built for it. Its "HR on call" headline and single price read quickly in a feed, and its LinkedIn post layout is authored at 1200 by 627 pixels. Pair the post with a short story about a real, anonymised question the retainer answered, such as an award interpretation, to show the service in action.
Can I change the theme without breaking the layout?
Yes. Any of the 99 themes can be applied from the Theme panel, and the layout stays put while the colours change. Check text over coloured panels after switching, since a dark theme can leave small text low in contrast. Style changes are stored per size, so restyle the A4 and the LinkedIn versions separately.

Financial planner flyer with a free first meeting
A financial planner flyer is asking for trust before it asks for money, so it leads with something free and backs it with a licence number. These three designs for Mulgafield Financial Planning, a fictional practice in Brisbane QLD, offer a complimentary one hour first meeting, a super and insurance review, a fee for service statement and the authorised representative and AFSL numbers a reader can check.
