Notary flyer example with mobile fees and documents
A notary flyer has to say where the notary will go, what each signature costs and what to bring, and in Arizona it must also say what a notary is not allowed to do. These three designs for Saguarink Mobile Notary, a fictional mobile notary in Phoenix, Arizona, promise visits 7 days a week, charge $10 per notarial act, set out travel zones, list the documents handled and carry the statutory notice that the notary is not an attorney.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

The three designs
The mobile design is the all rounder: a desert toned header with "We come to you, 7 days a week", a photo of a fountain pen, the required notice in its own panel, a four line ID checklist and three cost cards for the $10 fee, travel and same day visits. Use it as the A4 flyer for real estate offices, assisted living centers and hospital waiting areas. The fees design is a table of the three notarial acts at $10, three travel zones that are quoted before the visit, and the notice as the last row. Post it on Facebook in local community groups, where people ask "how much does a notary cost". The documents design is the bold one, four document types in icon tiles, the notice beside them and "$10 per act" in a block. Print it for title companies and car dealers.
What this flyer must carry
In Arizona, notary fees are set by Secretary of State rule, and A.R.S. 41-316 says a notary may not advertise or charge a fee for a notarial act except as the rules allow, while travel can be paid up to the state employee mileage and per diem rates. That is why these flyers print $10 per act and describe travel as agreed in advance rather than inventing a fee. A.R.S. 41-273 bars a notary who is not an Arizona attorney from using the words "notario" or "notario publico", and requires any print or online advertisement to carry the statement "I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in this state. I am not allowed to draft legal records, give advice on legal matters, including immigration, or charge a fee for those activities." in every language the ad uses. Print the commission number and the ID rules too.
How to adapt this flyer
For a notary who also does loan signings, add a loan document package line and the signing agent training you hold, keeping the $10 per act fee for the notarial certificates themselves. For a bilingual notary, translate the whole flyer, including the required notice, into each language, and never use "notario". For a notary based in a UPS style shop rather than mobile, swap the travel zones for opening hours and a walk in price list, and use the mobile design with a photo of the counter.
What makes these work
The fee is the legal maximum, and says so
"$10 per notarial act, the Arizona maximum" appears on all three designs. Arizona sets notary fees by rule, so a reader comparing notaries learns that the act itself costs the same everywhere and that the real difference is travel and availability.
The required notice is on every design
Arizona law requires a notary who is not a lawyer to include a set statement in any print advertising. The mobile design gives it a "Required notice" panel, the fees table carries it as a row and the documents design splits it across its two body paragraphs, so no version can be posted without it.
ID requirements are spelled out
An unexpired driver license, passport or Arizona ID card for every signer, and the document left unsigned until the notary arrives. These two lines prevent the most common wasted trip in mobile notary work.
Questions people ask
What statement must an Arizona notary flyer include?
Under A.R.S. 41-273, a notary who is not an Arizona attorney must include, prominently and in each language used: "I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in this state. I am not allowed to draft legal records, give advice on legal matters, including immigration, or charge a fee for those activities." The Secretary of State may authorize an alternative wording.
Can a mobile notary in Arizona charge a travel fee?
Arizona law allows a notary to be paid travel up to the mileage and per diem amounts set for state employees, separate from the notarial fee. Agree the travel amount with the client before the visit and keep it within that limit. That is why these designs list travel zones as quoted rather than printing a flat trip fee.
Can I put notary flyers in mailboxes?
Not without postage. United States federal law prohibits placing unstamped material in a mailbox, so a flyer drop must go on doors, community boards or through the mail. Real estate offices, assisted living centers, hospitals and car dealers are better places to leave a stack, since their clients need notarizations often.
Can a notary flyer say "notario publico" for Spanish speaking clients?
Not in Arizona, unless the notary is a licensed Arizona attorney. In many Latin American countries a notario is a lawyer, so the term can mislead people into seeking legal help from a notary. Write "notary public" in the Spanish version and include the required notice translated into Spanish.
Is A4 the right size for a US notary flyer?
US print shops default to Letter, which is wider and shorter than A4. These designs are built at A4 and export at 2480 by 3508 pixels, so either print on A4 stock or scale to fit Letter with a margin. For posting online, the Facebook post layout at 1200 by 630 pixels suits local community groups better.
