Copywriter flyer for website copy and email packages
A copywriter flyer is a writing sample before it is an advertisement, so every line on it has to earn its place. These three designs for Kererupen Copy, a fictional copywriter in Auckland, price website pages at $450 plus GST each, a five email sequence at $1,200 and a tone of voice guide at $850, with two revision rounds and first drafts in five working days.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

The three designs
The rates design is soft and modern: blue circles, the headline "Words that sell, priced per page" inside the largest, a short promise in a smaller circle, and two service blocks for website copy and the tone of voice guide. It is the A4 flyer for co working spaces and small business expos. The quote design is the boldest, a violet page where the whole message is set as one large quotation, signed "Kererupen Copy, Copywriter, Auckland". It works as an Instagram post or story because it reads like a piece of writing, not an ad. The brochure design is the most complete: "Words that sell." over a navy header, a "How a job runs" column with the GST worked out, a "Priced per page" seal and three priced services. Send it as a PDF with a proposal.
What this flyer must carry
A copywriter needs to show the services, the price basis, what the price includes, the turnaround and a way to start. In New Zealand, a business must register for GST once turnover passes $60,000 a year, and then charges 15%. If you are registered, say whether prices include or exclude GST; the Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act against misleading prices, and a figure that quietly excludes GST in a consumer facing ad can mislead. The NZBN is optional on a flyer but lets clients check the business exists. Keep claims about results ("doubles conversions") off the page unless you have the numbers, and avoid naming past clients without their permission.
How to adapt this flyer
For a copywriter who specialises in one sector, such as tourism operators, rename the services to booking pages, itinerary descriptions and seasonal email campaigns, and use the rates design with a landscape photo. For a writer who prefers retainers, swap the per page prices for a monthly plan of four blog posts and two emails. For a technical writer, replace "Words that sell" with "Manuals people actually read" and price per thousand words, since page counts mean little in documentation.
What makes these work
Priced per page, the way buyers think
Website owners count pages, not hours. "$450 + GST a page" lets a café owner with five pages work out $2,250 plus GST in their head, which is the moment a flyer turns into an enquiry.
The flyer practises what it sells
The quote design is almost nothing but a paragraph of copy: "Words that sell, priced per page," then the three prices and the revision promise. A copywriter whose own flyer reads cleanly in one breath is the best proof on the page.
GST is worked out once
The brochure design says "a $450 page is $517.50 including GST", and the rates design repeats it. New Zealand business buyers compare exclusive prices, but showing the inclusive figure once avoids an awkward first invoice for a sole trader client.
Questions people ask
Should a New Zealand copywriter quote prices including GST?
If most clients are businesses, quoting "+ GST" is normal and expected, but put the words right next to the number. If you also write for sole traders or individuals, add the inclusive figure, as Kererupen does with $517.50, because consumers read a bare price as the total. Only charge GST if you are registered.
Is per page pricing better than hourly for copywriting?
For clients, almost always. A per page or per project price lets them budget, while an hourly rate makes them guess how fast you write. Hourly suits editing and open ended consulting. Whatever you choose, define a page, such as up to 600 words, so a sprawling services page does not cost the same as a contact page.
What should a tone of voice guide include?
Three to five voice traits with examples, words to use and avoid, how formal to be in different channels, and before and after rewrites of real sentences from the business. Six pages is enough for a small team. It is a good second product on a copywriter's flyer because it keeps freelancers and staff consistent after you hand over the website copy.
Which of these designs reads best on Instagram?
The quote design. It is a single paragraph in large type, which reads like a post rather than an advert, and its Instagram post and story layouts are authored at 1080 by 1080 and 1080 by 1920 pixels, so the paragraph reflows instead of shrinking. Use the caption for the booking link and turnaround.
Can I edit the flyer text with the AI chat?
Yes. The flyer chat can change the text in a slot and rename the flyer, which is handy for trying three headlines quickly. It cannot change layout, size, theme or images, so do those in the builder. Every change is in the undo history, which holds the last 50 steps.

Architect flyer with a fixed fee concept stage
An architect flyer has to make the first step of a building project feel affordable and safe, because most people fear an open ended fee more than the build. These three designs for Dolerite and Line Architects, a fictional practice in Hobart TAS, offer concept design for $4,800 fixed, list the fee for each later stage, promise help with council approval and print the Board of Architects of Tasmania registration number.
Photographer flyer example with family, newborn and event rates
A photographer flyer is the one flyer where the picture does half the selling, but the prices and the turnaround do the other half. These three designs for Gullhaven Photography, a fictional studio in Wollongong NSW, show a family session at $350 with 20 edited images, a newborn session at $450, events at $220 an hour, a 10 day turnaround and optional print packages.
Insurance broker flyer for tradie business cover
An insurance broker flyer for tradies has to make cover feel cheap, quick and easy to prove to a builder. These three designs for Utefold Insurance Brokers, a fictional Perth WA broker, lead with public liability from $32 a month, add tool cover and accident and illness cover, promise the certificate of currency the same day and print the AFSL number with a general advice warning.
