Where PandaDoc is better
The content library and templates
PandaDoc stores approved layouts, snippets and branded assets, and its gallery claims more than a thousand templates. OneCraft has neither; every repeat document is a regeneration from a prompt. A sales team assembling twenty proposals a week from approved blocks is describing PandaDoc, not OneCraft.
Pricing tables that calculate
PandaDoc's pricing tables carry line items, quantities, discounts and taxes, wired to a product catalog, so the client sees a live quote. OneCraft's tables are typeset content: the AI writes plausible numbers, but nothing computes and nothing is optional. Quotes with moving parts belong with PandaDoc.
Approvals before sending
On the Business plan, PandaDoc routes documents through approvers, with conditional rules on value and discount. OneCraft has no approval step of any kind; whoever holds the account can send. Firms with deal desk controls cannot run them here.
CRM and payment in the same flow
PandaDoc embeds in HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and monday.com, and can take payment through Stripe, ACH or PayPal as the client signs. OneCraft connects to no CRM and takes no payment, so a revenue workflow ends at the signed PDF.
Richer view analytics
PandaDoc reports who opened, viewed and signed, with per recipient analytics feeding follow up. OneCraft's audit trail records opened and viewed events as legal evidence, not as a sales dashboard, and there is nothing beyond those events.
Where OneCraft is different
The document is written, not assembled
A brief becomes a finished proposal, contract or report in one run: the AI classifies the document's texture, scale and register first, then writes to that shape, grounded by a web search when no file is attached. There is no template to pick because the prompt is the template.
A theme from a sentence
Ten built in themes cover the common registers, and the Theme Studio generates a new one from a description like warm and confident law firm, deep burgundy on ivory. Restyling a document is a sentence, not a brand project.
Signing is native and certified
A signature block in the document becomes a signing envelope automatically, each party a recipient with an identity check. The completed PDF is PAdES certified so later edits break the seal, with a hash chained 18 event audit trail and a certificate of completion behind it.
The account does more than documents
The same login generates presentations, flyers, forms and promo videos. The proposal, the pitch deck and the intake form for one client engagement come from one place with one bill.

PandaDoc's pricing page, checked 2 September 2026, lists a Free plan with 60 documents a year, Starter at $19 USD per seat a month billed annually, and Business at $49 USD per seat a month billed annually, with approvals, CRM integrations, content library and bulk send in the Business tier. OneCraft's pricing page lists Free with 100 AI credits a month, Starter at $8 a month and Pro at $25, and is priced per account rather than per seat. A two person shop pays for one OneCraft account or two PandaDoc seats; the arithmetic is that simple.
Moving across
A PandaDoc document arrives in OneCraft the same way any PDF does: upload it to the PDF to editable document converter and the text is read and rebuilt as an editable OneCraft document. Layout, branding and any interactive pricing behaviour do not carry over, and templates cannot migrate because OneCraft has nothing to migrate them into. Signed documents should be downloaded from PandaDoc and archived as they are.
What we could not check
PandaDoc's site blocks simple automated fetches, so its pages were read with a full browser; every claim above comes from a page that actually rendered. Its export formats are not itemised on the features page, so the table says so. Per plan placement of some features is taken from the plan cards on the pricing page, and anything ambiguous there was left out.
How the OneCraft side was verified
Every OneCraft cell names a row in an internal fact ledger checked against the product's source code: the 45 component types, the classification rules the generator applies before writing, the handover that turns signature block parties into recipients, and the server rendered PDF export. The absences, templates, content library, approvals, CRM, payments and Word export, are ledger entries too.
Who should stay with PandaDoc
Stay with PandaDoc if proposals run through a CRM, if quotes need live pricing tables, if documents pass an approval desk before sending, or if payment on signature closes your deals. OneCraft replaces none of that machinery; it competes only on writing the document and signing it with strong evidence.
Questions people ask
Can I make a proposal template in OneCraft?
No. There are no reusable templates or content library. The working substitute is a saved prompt: keep the brief that produced a good proposal, change the client specifics, and regenerate. It is a different habit, and for teams with heavy template governance it is genuinely worse, which is why PandaDoc holds that row.
Can the client accept and pay in one step?
They can sign in one step, not pay. The signing flow verifies identity, captures the signature and certifies the PDF, but no payment is collected anywhere. PandaDoc takes payment through Stripe, ACH or PayPal as part of signing, and deals that close on payment should use it.
Does OneCraft track when a client opens the document?
For sent envelopes, yes, as evidence: the audit trail records opened and viewed events per recipient with timestamps, and they appear in the certificate of completion. What it does not do is sales analytics, view durations, per page attention or engagement scores, which PandaDoc's tracking provides.
Can I reuse a pricing table between documents?
No, and OneCraft's tables do not calculate in the first place: no quantities, no computed totals, no optional items a client can toggle. The AI writes the table's content per document. Interactive quoting is PandaDoc's feature and this page lists it plainly on their side.
Is there a content library?
No. Nothing stores approved snippets, images or clause blocks for reuse. Consistency across documents comes from reusing prompts and themes instead. If marketing or legal must control exact approved wording across a team's documents, PandaDoc's library and content locking are the tools for that.
Can I export to Word?
No. Documents export as PDF only, rendered server side so the file matches the canvas exactly. If your counterparties redline in Word, that is a real limitation; the editable path in OneCraft is editing the document itself and regenerating the PDF.
