UGC style video
Headphones UGC video example
This headphones UGC video example is a 29 second creator style ad written and set in German, with the script, an English gloss and every scene's seconds below. A creator on a loud commuter train turns noise cancelling on, the proof is that the noise is gone, forty hours of battery is the number, and the comparison at the end is with her own old pair, no rival named.

The script, glossed
Scene 1: "Okay, ich sitze in der S-Bahn und es ist laut, richtig laut, hört ihr das?" (I am on the train and it is loud, really loud, can you hear that?). Scene 2 over the product photo: "Noise Cancelling an" (noise cancelling on). Scene 3: "Und jetzt? Nichts. Ich höre nur meinen Podcast, ehrlich" (And now? Nothing. I only hear my podcast, honestly). Scene 4 is the battery beat, "Vierzig Stunden Akku" (forty hours of battery). Scene 5: "Meine alten haben zwölf geschafft, das hier hält die ganze Woche" (my old ones managed twelve, these last the whole week). Scene 6 closes with code NORD10, ten percent off the first order.
Writing in one language, briefing in another
The brief for this video was typed in English with the language set to German, which is exactly how the generator works: the language field is free typed with 32 suggestions, and the director writes both the narration and the on screen copy in the requested language. Per scene, the voice dialog lets you change the language, pick any voice and edit the line. The configured voice here is the energetic female Chirp3 HD voice in the de-DE locale, one of eight director voices German gets. Captions type on word by word in German exactly as in English, and umlauts and the sharp s render fine in the Onyx look's Inter font.
A comparison that names nobody
The strongest beat is scene 5, and it is a comparison with the creator's own old pair: twelve hours against a week. Comparative advertising against a named rival is regulated in the EU and easy to get wrong, but comparing against the viewer's status quo is both safe and more persuasive, because the audience owns the old pair, not the rival's marketing department. The battery number the ad does claim, forty hours, gets its own photo beat so it reads as the one hard spec. In this hand built example the creator slot carries licensed stock commuter footage and the product beats use stock photography; the generated version fills the talking scenes with an animated avatar.
What makes this video work
The test is the setting
The hook is recorded on the train where the problem lives, and the proof in scene 3 is the absence of that noise. The ad demonstrates the product in the exact moment the buyer wants it for.
The battery is the only spec
Scene 4 gives "Vierzig Stunden Akku" its own beat over the product. One number, held alone, is remembered; a spec sheet in a 29 second ad is not.
The comparison has no rival
Scene 5 compares with her old pair, twelve hours against a week. That sidesteps EU comparative advertising rules entirely and argues against the thing the viewer actually owns.
Questions people ask
Can the brief be in English and the video in German?
Yes. Set the language field to German and the director writes the narration and every on screen line in German, whatever language the brief was typed in. The language field is free typed with 32 suggestions, and each scene's voice dialog can override language and voice individually.
Which German voices are available?
The de-DE locale has all eight director voices, four styles in two genders: energetic, instructional, warm and neutral. This example is configured with the energetic female voice. Beyond those eight, the builder's voice dialog can search the whole Google voice catalogue for German.
Do captions work in German?
Yes, the same way as English: the narration is split into sentences and words, and each word types on in the dark pill as it is spoken. German is Latin script, so umlauts and the sharp s render in every look's font, including the Inter font this Onyx look uses.
Could I name the competitor instead?
The script deliberately does not. Comparative advertising with a named brand is lawful in the EU only under strict conditions on verifiability and denigration, and it hands the rival free airtime. Comparing with the creator's own old pair makes the same point with none of that exposure.
Why 29 seconds?
Talking beats of 6, 5.5 and 4.5 seconds carry the test, the reaction and the comparison, and the three proof beats between them hold about three seconds each. That fills the under 30 second UGC budget exactly, with the battery number and the code each getting a clean beat.
Is the 40 hour battery figure real?
No, Nordlicht Audio is fictional and the figure is invented for the example. In a real ad the battery claim is a measurable product spec, so state the number your testing supports and the conditions behind it, because a battery claim is exactly the kind a regulator or reviewer will check.
