A Calendly alternative for booking on your own website

Calendly is a scheduling link: free for one event type, $10 a seat a month for unlimited event types, with Stripe and PayPal payments and calendar connections. OneCraft writes booking into the business's own website or app instead, with services, slots and deposits stored in the site's database.

The short verdict

Calendly is the better pick for a person or sales team whose meetings live in Google or Outlook calendars, who want round-robin routing, CRM integrations and meeting links that drop into an email. OneCraft suits a service business that wants appointments booked on its own website or app, around its own services, with deposits paid to its own Stripe account.

Where Calendly is better

Where OneCraft is different

A link or a website

Calendly gives each person a booking page and a link to share. Many service businesses put that link on their website, which sends clients to a second site to finish booking. OneCraft writes the booking into the website itself: a bookkeeper's discovery call and paid review, a deposit through Stripe Checkout, and a signed in area where clients see their bookings and upload documents to a private bucket.

Availability without a calendar sync

Because OneCraft has no live calendar feed, opening hours, staff and slots are held in the site's database, and the brief should say plainly that two bookings may not take the same slot. A business that books around a busy personal calendar will find Calendly easier; one with set hours and services will not miss the sync.

Seats against sites

Calendly charges per seat: three people on Standard pay $30 a month. OneCraft charges per account, with Starter at $8 for 3 sites and Pro at $25 for 10, and card deposits add Stripe's fees and a 2% or 1% platform fee by plan.

Who should stay with Calendly

Stay with Calendly if your availability lives in your calendar, you book meetings for a sales team, or you rely on its CRM and notetaker integrations. Move if you run a service business that wants clients to book and pay a deposit on its own website, with the bookings stored alongside the rest of the site's data.

Questions people ask

Can clients upload documents with their booking?

Yes, when the agent builds a client area with the files guide. Each site has a private bucket that allows files up to 25 MB, readable only through the site's own access rule, so one client never sees another's documents.

Does OneCraft create Zoom or Google Meet links?

No meeting link integration is listed for OneCraft sites. The booking can hold a meeting address you add yourself, or the site can show your standing video link to clients after they book. Calendly's notetaker joins Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls.

Can a booking take a deposit?

Yes, through Stripe Checkout as a direct charge on your own connected Stripe account, on a paid plan. Prices come from the site's database, never from the browser, and a webhook marks the booking paid when Stripe confirms. OneCraft keeps 2% on Starter or 1% on Pro.

Can I embed the booking form on another site?

The booking form is a page of your OneCraft site, at its own address or your custom domain. Linking to that page is simplest; no embed widget for other websites is listed for OneCraft. A link also keeps the client on your own domain from start to finish.

Will clients get a confirmation email?

The mail broker lets a site send mail only to the signed in visitor's own address or to the owner, at most 20 an hour, from OneCraft's address with the site's name. Ask the agent for a confirmation email and test it in the preview.
