Where InVideo is better
Stock footage is built in
InVideo's plans carry a monthly iStock allowance and its AI references stock providers such as iStock and Storyblocks. OneCraft has no stock footage library at all; visuals are generated, uploaded by you, or an Unsplash still used as a fallback. If your promo depends on real footage you did not shoot, InVideo has it and OneCraft does not.
A real timeline
InVideo gives you a drag and drop editor where media and audio sit on a timeline and can be cropped, trimmed, looped and flipped. OneCraft deliberately has no timeline: you edit scene by scene and the motion between scenes is decided for you. Editors who want frame level control will find OneCraft restrictive.
A far larger template library
InVideo advertises more than 5,000 video templates across social ads, events, YouTube and more. OneCraft ships 32 templates and leans on 50 scene roles instead. If you shop for a starting point by browsing templates, their catalogue is orders of magnitude wider.
More avatars and voice clones
InVideo's plans include AI avatars and voice clones, from 4 on the Plus plan up to 200 on the Elite plan. OneCraft has exactly one generated persona, only in UGC mode, only on the Pro plan and up, and no voice cloning of any kind.
Where OneCraft is different
Scenes with named roles instead of a timeline
Every OneCraft scene has a role such as opener, proof or offer, drawn from 50 roles with 425 layouts. The director picks the roles and writes the lines; layout, motion and timing are deterministic code, so nothing drifts off grid however much you edit the words.
Captions and voiceover are the default
Narration is spoken by a Chirp3-HD voice matched to the brief's language, and captions type on as the words are spoken, on by default with a per scene toggle. You do not assemble subtitles as a separate step.
Tutorial videos from your screenshots
The tutorial type builds a video from still screenshots you capture, with click points and automatic zoom at 1.5x or 2.1x and 5 to 9 seconds a step. It is a different way of making a how to video than editing a screen recording on a timeline.
The same account makes the rest of the launch
The video generator sits beside generators for flyers, presentations, documents and forms, so the promo, the poster and the sign up form for one launch come from one account with one set of credits.
Pricing in plain terms
InVideo's pricing page, checked 2 September 2026, lists Plus at $17 a month billed $200 yearly with 750 credits a month, Max at $85 a month billed $1,000 yearly with 3,900 credits, and higher tiers beyond that; credits do not roll over, and their help pages say free plan exports carry a watermark until you subscribe. OneCraft's pricing page lists a Free plan with 100 credits a month, Starter at $8 a month with 300 credits, and Pro at $25 a month with 1,000 credits. On OneCraft a generation costs 1 credit, tutorial videos need the Starter plan, and UGC videos need Pro.
Moving across
There is no importer for InVideo projects, and no video tool can read another's project format. The honest path is to re brief: paste your script or the key points into the OneCraft brief box, attach the product images you used, and let the director recompose it as scenes. Uploaded clips from your library carry across as ordinary MP4, WebM or MOV files.
What we could not check
InVideo's public pages do not state free plan export counts, per plan export resolutions, a total stock library size or a maximum video length, so none of those appear in the table. Their template count of 5,000+ is their own claim on their templates page, quoted as written. Where a fact could not be read from an InVideo page on the day we checked, we left it out rather than guessing.
How the OneCraft side was verified
Every OneCraft cell in the table names a row in an internal fact ledger that is checked against the product's source code, from the 8,000 character brief cap to the 200 MB clip limit and the 3 talking scene cap in UGC mode. Nothing on this page describes a planned feature, and the absences, stock footage and the timeline, are stated as absences.
Who should stay with InVideo
Stay with InVideo if your videos need stock footage, if you cut and trim on a timeline, if you make long form video, or if you rely on avatar and voice clone allowances. OneCraft covers none of those; it is for short composed promos, tutorials and UGC style clips, not for editing footage.
Questions people ask
Does OneCraft have stock footage?
No. There is no stock footage library. Scene visuals are AI generated images, your own uploaded images and clips, or, when an AI image fails during generation, an Unsplash still as a fallback. If stock footage is central to your videos, InVideo is the better fit and this page says so plainly.
Can I edit on a timeline?
No. OneCraft has no timeline. You edit scene by scene: change the words, swap the visual, adjust narration, reorder scenes. Motion, transitions and timing come from the chosen pace, Dynamic or Calm, and are applied by deterministic code rather than by dragging clips around.
How long can a OneCraft video be?
The generator offers short, standard and long lengths targeting roughly 10, 18 and 30 seconds, with a long video budgeted at 6 to 12 scenes. It is built for promos, tutorials and UGC style clips, not long form video. UGC videos are capped under 30 seconds with at most 3 talking scenes.
Is there a watermark on OneCraft's free plan?
OneCraft does not stamp its own branding on exports. The watermark feature is for your brand: your wordmark or a logo entered as a URL, shown bottom left at reduced opacity. On the free plan the practical limit is credits, since each generation costs one credit from a monthly allowance of 100.
Can I use my own clips?
Yes. A user clip scene plays an uploaded MP4, WebM or MOV of up to 200 MB, with a trim start and end, cover or contain fit, and a choice of muting or keeping the clip's audio. Clips are not used in UGC mode, where the talking persona carries the video.
Which languages does the voiceover support?
Voices are Google Chirp3-HD, with 31 languages mapped to a locale and four styles across two genders. Malay and Filipino fall back to an older voice family, and a tutorial video always gets the instructional style whatever the brief asks for. Captions follow the narration in the same language.
