The short verdict

Subsplash is the better pick for a church that wants giving, a church app, a TV app, media hosting, live streaming, child check-in and church management from one ministry focused vendor with a success coach. OneCraft suits a smaller church that wants a website or app written for its own ministries and events, with online giving through its own Stripe account, and a clear monthly price.

Where Subsplash is better

Where OneCraft is different

Bundle against build

Subsplash One is a bundle: websites, apps, media, giving and church management, priced by church size after a demo. That suits a church that wants one vendor for everything. OneCraft builds only what the brief asks for. A church that needs service times, a sermon archive, a ministries page, events and online giving gets exactly those, written as code with a database for sign ups.

Giving costs side by side

Subsplash Giving costs $0 a month with card gifts at 2.3% plus 30 cents. On OneCraft, giving needs a paid plan and a connected Stripe account; Stripe charges its own processing fees, and OneCraft keeps 2% on Starter, 1% on Pro or 0.5% on Pro+. For a church raising a few thousand dollars a month, compare the platform fee against the monthly plan before deciding.

Apps for members

Subsplash builds custom church apps for you. OneCraft writes an Expo app from a brief, which can be based on the church website so both share content and data, then runs Expo builds for 5 credits each. The church submits the app from its own Apple and Google developer accounts.

Who should stay with Subsplash

Stay with Subsplash if your church streams services, hosts media, needs check-in and service planning, or wants a coach and support line. Move if you need a clear monthly price, a website or app written around your ministries, and online giving to your own Stripe account without a sales conversation.

Questions people ask

Can people give monthly on a OneCraft church site?

Yes, as a subscription through Stripe Checkout when the agent builds subscriptions from a plans table, and donors can manage their card in the Stripe billing portal. Gifts go to the church's own connected Stripe account, on a paid plan.

Can OneCraft send text messages to members?

No. There is no SMS. A signed in admin can send an email newsletter to confirmed subscribers, at most 500 per send and 5 sends an hour, from OneCraft's address with the site's name. Churches that send rosters or reminders by text should keep their texting tool.

How do we see who visits the site?

Once published, Settings shows visits per day, estimated visitors, top pages and referrers over 7, 30 or 90 days. The counts come from a beacon that uses no cookies and no ids, so the report shows trends rather than individual people.

Who can edit announcements and events?

The agent can build an admin area shown only to people listed in the site's site_admins table, and creates the first admin from the owner's contact email. Staff then update events and announcements there without touching the code. Admins can be added or removed later through chat.

Can we use our own domain?

Yes, on a paid plan: Starter allows 1 custom domain and Pro 5. You add a TXT record and a CNAME, press Verify, and a managed certificate is issued. Until then the site lives at a free onecraft.live address. Other live hosts then redirect to the primary domain.
