Masterclass flyer for a learning hub's one day sessions
A masterclass is a person, so a masterclass flyer gives the expert’s name and one line of credential as much weight as the topic. These three are for Northgate Learning Hub, a fictional provider selling one day sessions between $390 and $590, and each shows a different way to make the teacher the headline without turning the page into a biography.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

What each layout is doing
The brand design is the premium poster: a dark page, a three line stacked headline reading Own One Thing, a circular spotlit photo, and three pillars carrying audit, position and publish. It sells a transformation and gives almost no detail, which suits a $490 day where the buyer is buying the person. The exam design is the practical one, with three schedule chips for date, time and price, three benefit cards, and the instructor in a footer band, and it is the version a parent puts on the fridge. The finance design is the most evidential, pairing a real chart with a five row curriculum and a short quote, and it is the one for a reader who wants to see what the day changes before they spend $590 on it.
How to adapt these
For an online masterclass, replace the venue with the platform and the time zone, and keep the seat cap, because a cap is what stops an online session reading as a webinar you could watch later. For a two day intensive, use the exam layout and give each day its own chip, since two dates in one chip is the single most misread line on an event flyer. For a series, keep one template and one theme across all of them and change only the expert and the topic, so the set reads as one programme, and consider building them as pages of one flyer and exporting a single PDF.
What makes these work
The expert is named in the top third of every design
The brand design puts "WITH ELENA MARSH, BRAND STRATEGIST" directly under the masterclass label. The exam design runs Dr Owen Tate across the footer band with twenty years marking Year 12 papers beside it. The finance design credits Tom Ashby CPA in the tagline block beside the call to action. In each case the credential is one line, which is the length a reader will actually read.
The finance design charts the outcome it teaches
A six bar chart of cash on hand over six months, rising from $12k to $34k, sits under the headline. It is a real chart slot rather than a picture of one, single series over six categories, which is the maximum this template accepts. The day teaches a weekly cash review, and the chart is the shape a business takes when somebody starts doing it.
The seat cap prints beside the price
14 seats at $490, 20 seats at $390, 12 seats at $590. The number is what turns the price from expensive into small group, and it is also true: a masterclass that admits eighty people is a seminar. Printing the cap commits you to it, which is the point.
Questions people ask
What goes on a masterclass flyer?
The transformation as a headline, the expert with one credential, the date, the price, the seat cap, and three to five things the day covers. These three carry all six. The full agenda does not fit and does not sell, because a masterclass buyer is choosing a teacher and an outcome rather than a running order.
Masterclass, workshop or seminar, what is the difference?
A seminar is a talk you attend, so its flyer sells a claim and a speaker. A workshop is hands-on with a seat cap and an hourly agenda, so its flyer sells the agenda. A masterclass is one expert on one topic for a day, so its flyer sells the expert and the transformation, and prints a price high enough that the seat cap has to be visible.
Should I put the expert’s photo on it?
Only if the photo is genuinely good, and only with their agreement. None of these three uses a portrait: the brand design uses an empty chair under a stage light, the exam design uses no image at all, and the finance design uses a chart. An object or a chart carries the subject without a headshot session, and it never dates the flyer.
How do I justify a high price on a flyer?
With the cap and the specifics. $590 next to twelve seats reads differently from $590 alone, and a five row curriculum naming margin per job and the weekly review reads differently from "small business finance". What does not work is a list of adjectives: a reader who cannot tell what happens in the room assumes the answer is a slideshow.
Can I put a chart on a flyer?
Yes. There are ten chart kinds, bar vertical, bar horizontal, stacked column, line, area, pie, donut, radar, waterfall and waffle, and charts are one of the sections in Add items so you can insert one into any design. The finance template here ships a chart slot already, capped at a single series over six categories.
Which size works for Instagram?
Instagram Post at 1080 by 1080 for the feed and Instagram Story at 1080 by 1920 for stories. Both are native sizes for these three designs, so the square or tall version of the same design is swapped in with the date and the price carried over. Styling you changed at A4 does not follow, because style overrides are kept per size.

Accounting services flyer for a suburban tax and bookkeeping practice
Somebody choosing an accountant from a flyer is choosing on two things, what it costs and whether the practice is legitimate, so each of these prints fixed prices and a registered tax agent number. They are for Ledger & Lane, a fictional three accountant practice above a bakery, and they cover the July to October tax season and the monthly work that follows it.
Conference flyer for an events company's three annual conferences
A conference flyer carries less than a seminar flyer, not more: the name, the dates, the venue, one sentence on who it is for, and the early bird price with its deadline. These three are for Circuit Conferences, a fictional company that runs three industry events a year and sends flyers out eight months ahead, when the programme is still moving and only the date and the price are safe to print.
Tutoring and classes flyer
Three flyers for Meridian Tutoring, a small group centre running since 2016. The revision class flyer goes on school noticeboards and sells ten Saturday mornings of Year 12 Physics from 14 September, capped at eight, in person or online. The masterclass flyer sells a one day Exam Technique intensive on Saturday 27 September, 9am to 3pm. The maths class flyer fills a weekly Tuesday group for Years 9 to 12 from 16 September, one tutor to every four students.
