Accounting services flyer for a suburban tax and bookkeeping practice
Somebody choosing an accountant from a flyer is choosing on two things, what it costs and whether the practice is legitimate, so each of these prints fixed prices and a registered tax agent number. They are for Ledger & Lane, a fictional three accountant practice above a bakery, and they cover the July to October tax season and the monthly work that follows it.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

What each layout is doing
The tax time design is the seasonal one: a light hero with the wordmark and a three line headline, then a navy panel carrying three fixed fee rows and a booking button over a contact strip. It is the flyer for the shopping centre noticeboard in July, when the only question is what a return costs. The packages design is the business one, with a wide photo band, an intro paragraph and four monthly packages in a two by two grid, and it goes to trades and shops rather than to individuals. The cards design is the relationship one, three service cards over a client quote and a free first meeting block, and it is the version you leave at a co-working space where the reader is not shopping on price yet.
How to adapt these
For a bookkeeper without agent registration, remove the agent number and every reference to lodging, since only a registered agent may lodge on a client’s behalf, and use the space for the software you work in, which is what bookkeeping clients filter on. For a financial planner, the licensing rules are different again and a flyer usually has to carry the licence details, so check them before reusing the tax time layout. For an end of financial year promotion, keep the packages design and change the headline to the deadline, because June work is bought on urgency rather than on price.
What makes these work
Fixed prices on all three, with the variables named
Individual returns from $180, add $110 for a rental, sole trader $390, company from $1,100, BAS $220 a quarter. Monthly packages at $290, $420, $690 and $6 per employee for payroll. A reader can work out what they will pay before they call, and the named add-on is what stops the fixed fee reading as a bait price.
The registered tax agent number sits under the name
26 481 903 appears in the subtitle of the tax time design, in the footer contact line of the packages design, and in the hero paragraph of the cards design. An agent number is the one credential a reader can check in thirty seconds, and putting it beside the practice name rather than in the small print is what separates a firm from a bookkeeper with a website.
The packages design prices by month, not by hour
Bookkeeping $290, books and BAS $420, full service $690, payroll $6 per employee. That is how a small business actually compares accountants: a monthly number they can put in a budget. Hourly rates make the same information unusable, because nobody outside the practice knows how many hours their own books take.
Questions people ask
What goes on an accountant flyer?
Services with prices, the registered tax agent number, how to book, the appointment options, and one line about who you work with. These three carry all five. What does not help is a list of accounting software logos or a qualification alphabet, because neither answers the two questions a reader actually has.
Can I advertise fixed fees?
Yes, provided the fee is real and the exclusions are stated. These print from prices and name the add-ons, such as $110 more for a rental schedule and $220 a quarter for BAS. The risk with a fixed fee is not the number, it is the customer who arrives with a situation the number never covered, so write the boundary on the flyer.
Do I have to show my tax agent number?
If you are advertising tax agent services in Australia, the Tax Practitioners Board sets the rules on registration and on using the registered practitioner symbol, so check what applies to you before printing. These examples carry a fictional number in the standard format and repeat it on all three designs, which is what a real practice would do.
Should I mention the lodgement deadline?
Yes, and be accurate about which one. 31 October is the deadline for people who lodge their own return; clients who are on a registered agent’s list before that date usually get a later one. A flyer that implies everybody has until May is wrong, and a flyer that implies everybody must file by 31 October scares clients who do not.
Where do accounting flyers work?
Trade suppliers, business chambers, co-working spaces, and the counters of the shops on your own street, which is where the packages design belongs. Tax time flyers do better in supermarkets and community noticeboards from early July. Online, LinkedIn Post is the size that matters, because it is where the business clients are.
Can I print a version for LinkedIn?
Yes. LinkedIn Post at 1200 by 627 is a native size for all three designs, because the product reuses the Facebook Post file for LinkedIn at the same aspect. Add a page, choose LinkedIn Post, check the wide layout still carries the prices, and export that page as a PNG.

Dental clinic flyer for a family dental practice
A dental flyer that says call for a quote is read as a warning, so each of these three states a fixed price for a first visit and lists exactly what that visit includes. They are for Brightwater Dental, a fictional family practice that has opened a second chair and wants 200 new patients this year, and the offer is the same on all three: $149 for the exam, the clean and two x-rays.
Web design agency flyer for a three person studio
A business owner comparing agencies on a flyer needs a price to know whether the conversation is worth having, so all three of these price the same three packages. They are for Pixelforge Studio, a fictional three person studio that builds sites for trades and cafes and hands these out at chamber of commerce breakfasts, and each carries one client result with a number in it.
Electronics sale flyer
Rangeview Audio & Vision clears its demonstration room over three weeks, and every unit in the sale has already been switched on in front of a customer. Three flyers cover it. A floor stock sheet defines what marked down means before it names a single price. A quote sheet carries the old price, the number left and the cost of delivery and set up. A four step page explains what happens if something bought in the sale stops working.
