A Prezi alternative for linear decks with motion
A Prezi alternative suits a talk that should run slide after slide in a standard 16 by 9 deck rather than across a zooming canvas. Prezi builds zoomable presentations with live polls, quizzes and Q&A; OneCraft generates a linear deck from a brief, adds seven kinds of slide transition, and presents, records and exports it to PowerPoint.

The short verdict
Prezi suits presenters who want a zooming canvas and an audience that takes part: polls, quizzes, Q&A and word clouds from phones, view analytics, and follow-up material after the session. OneCraft suits a speaker who wants a conventional linear deck written from a brief, with transitions, pen tools and recording, that can leave as a PowerPoint file.

Where Prezi is better
The zooming canvas
Prezi's canvas lets a talk move between an overview and its details by zooming, which suits storytelling and non linear talks. OneCraft slides are linear, and motion is limited to transitions between one slide and the next.
An audience that takes part
Prezi builds polls, quizzes, Q&A and word clouds into the presentation, joined by a QR code with no app, and shows results by question. OneCraft can put a quiz on a slide, but nobody can answer it from their phone.
Imports from everywhere
Prezi imports PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, PDF, Word and ChatGPT slides with their formatting. OneCraft imports no slides at all and rebuilds from the text of an attached PDF or image.
Follow-up and analytics
After a session, Prezi's link offers the talk as narrated video, podcast, flashcards and practice quizzes, reports viewer engagement, and exports SCORM for learning systems. OneCraft's link is read only and records nothing.
Where OneCraft is different
A conventional deck other tools can open
Every slide is a fixed 1920 by 1080 canvas, and the editable PPTX export opens in PowerPoint with text, tables and nine chart kinds editable. A conference that asks for your slides as a PowerPoint file gets exactly that.
Motion without disorientation
Seven transition kinds, fade, slide, zoom, flip, swipe, iris and blur, can be set for the whole deck and overridden per slide, which gives a keynote pace without the camera moves a canvas needs.
Rehearse and record in the editor
Present mode has a notes pop-out for the second screen, pen and spotlight tools, and records the talk at up to 4K with a camera overlay, a countdown and pause, saved as a WebM file.
A finished example

Prezi's pricing page, checked 29 September 2026, renders its plans in the browser and returned no price text to a fetch, so no Prezi price is quoted here; its home page states that it is free to start with no credit card. OneCraft lists Free at $0 with 100 credits a month and decks of up to 6 slides with PDF export, Starter at $8, Pro at $25 and Pro+ at $125. Pen tools, recording and PowerPoint export need a paid plan.
Canvas or slides
A canvas is at its best when the audience needs to see where a detail sits in the whole, and when the presenter has rehearsed the path. Slides are at their best when a talk moves in one direction and has to be shared, printed or opened by someone else. A keynote that will be emailed to organisers afterwards, or reused by a colleague, is usually easier as a deck.
Moving across
A Prezi cannot be imported into OneCraft. Export or print it to PDF and attach it on a paid plan, where its text grounds a new generation, or paste the talk's outline into the prompt. The new deck uses OneCraft's layouts, and the path through the canvas becomes a sequence of slides with transitions. Speaker notes are kept per slide and can be popped out to a second screen.
What could not be checked
Prezi's pricing page served a script shell with no plan text, and its support centre refused automated requests, so plan prices, PowerPoint export and offline use are not quoted. Feature cells quote the home page and the product menu. OneCraft cells each name a row in an internal ledger checked against the slide editor's source code.
Who should stay with Prezi
Stay with Prezi if the zooming canvas is part of how you tell the story, if your audience answers polls and quizzes live, or if you rely on its follow-up material, analytics and SCORM export. OneCraft suits a speaker who wants a linear deck written from a brief, with transitions and recording, that ends as a PowerPoint file.
Questions people ask
Does OneCraft have a zoom effect like Prezi?
Only as a transition. Zoom is one of seven slide transitions, alongside fade, slide, flip, swipe, iris and blur, and it animates the change from one slide to the next. There is no canvas to zoom around, so a talk that jumps between an overview and its parts works better in Prezi.
Can my audience vote or ask questions during the talk?
No. OneCraft has no live audience tools. Quiz and Q&A slide layouts show questions on the screen, but answers are not collected from phones. Prezi builds polls, quizzes, Q&A and word clouds into the presentation and shows the results, which is its main strength for teachers and trainers.
Can I record myself presenting over the slides?
Yes, on a paid plan. Present mode records the deck with an optional camera overlay and microphone at 1080p, 1440p or 4K, at 30 frames a second, with a three second countdown, pause and resume, and downloads a WebM file. You can use the pen and spotlight while recording.
Which browsers can record?
Recording needs the browser's private file system, so it works in Chrome and Edge from version 102, Firefox from version 111 and Safari from version 17.4. Older browsers can still present, with notes, shortcuts and transitions, but cannot record. Recordings download straight to your computer.
How do I see my notes when the deck is on a projector?
Write notes per slide in the notes pane, then in present mode press N to show them, or pop them out into a separate Speaker notes window that shows the slide number and total. Drag that window to your laptop screen while the projector shows the deck. Notes never appear on the slides themselves.
