A Sellfy alternative: a store written into your own website

Sellfy is a creator storefront from $22 a month billed yearly with 0% transaction fees, but each plan caps yearly sales at $10,000, $50,000 or $200,000. OneCraft writes the store into your own website with no sales cap, charging a platform fee of 0.5% to 2% on each Stripe payment instead.

The short verdict

Sellfy is the better pick for a creator who wants a ready made storefront with print on demand merch, email marketing, upsells, cart abandonment and affiliate marketing, large file hosting, and no per sale fee, and whose yearly sales fit a plan's cap. OneCraft suits a creator who wants the store inside a website written for their brand, without a yearly sales ceiling, and who accepts a small platform fee per sale.

Where Sellfy is better

Where OneCraft is different

Caps against percentages

Sellfy charges a flat monthly price and nothing per sale, but each plan carries a yearly sales cap: Starter to $10,000, Business to $50,000, Premium to $200,000. OneCraft charges a monthly plan and a platform fee per payment: 2% on Starter, 1% on Pro, 0.5% on Pro+. A store selling $40,000 a year pays Sellfy $59 a month on Business, and OneCraft Pro $25 a month plus about $33 a month in platform fees, with card fees on top either way.

Digital and physical in one site

The agent writes the catalog, product pages, a Stripe Checkout and an orders table from your brief; downloads come from the site's private bucket, and physical orders appear in the admin area for you to ship. Subscriptions, such as a print of the month, run from a plans table with the Stripe billing portal.

Things Sellfy does that you would ask for

Upsells, gift wrapping options and abandoned cart reminders are features to name in the brief. The agent builds them as code and checks them, but there is no built-in screen for each, so review the checkout in the preview before publishing.

Who should stay with Sellfy

Stay with Sellfy if you sell print on demand merch or large files, want upsells and cart recovery ready made, and your yearly sales sit inside a plan's cap. Move if you want the store to be your website, with no sales ceiling, and you are content to ship your own physical stock.

Questions people ask

Can OneCraft sell physical prints?

Yes. The catalog, orders and delivery guides let the agent build physical products with an orders table and an admin view. Shipping labels and fulfilment are yours; there is no print on demand or shipping service built in. Stock can be tracked with the inventory guide.

Can I offer discount codes?

A discount code screen is not built in. The agent can write discount rules into the site's database and checkout if you ask, since prices are read from the database rather than the browser. Test the result in the preview.

Where do sales get paid out?

To your own Stripe account. Each sale is a direct charge on your connected Stripe account, so Stripe pays out to your bank on its normal schedule and refunds are issued from your Stripe dashboard. OneCraft never holds the money.

Can buyers sign in to see past orders?

Yes, when the agent builds buyer accounts with email or Google sign in. Row level security lets each buyer read only their own orders and downloads. They sign in with email and password, with password reset, or with Google on the published site, and the agent checks those access rules before generation finishes.

What does OneCraft cost before I sell anything?

Starter is $8 a month and Pro $25. The free plan can build and preview a store with 100 credits a month but cannot publish or take payments, so a live store needs a paid plan. Card payments then add Stripe's fees and the platform fee.
