Romanian AI voiceover

Selecting Romanian assigns one of eight ro-RO voices and has the director write every spoken and on-screen line in Romanian. The ș and ț render correctly in captions across all looks, and each clip is billed by how long its line is.

The scene voiceover dialog in the video builder with Romanian (ro-RO) chosen and its voice list open
In the video builder a scene voiceover takes a language first, then a voice from that language's list. Here the language is ro-RO and the line is the sample read above.

Setting the language and what it commits to

Romanian is one of the 32 suggestions in the Language field, which also accepts anything typed, and choosing it fixes the ro-RO locale for the video's automatic voices. From there the director writes original Romanian for both narration and on-screen copy, working from your brief's facts rather than translating its sentences, so the result reads like copy written in Bucharest rather than converted from English. The brief's own language is irrelevant to the output. Anything you quote in the brief in Romanian, an established tagline for instance, is carried through untouched.

Style pairs and their videos

The casting grid is four styles by two genders. Puck and Laomedeia rush a little, right for retail promos and social ads. Charon and Erinome measure their pace for instruction, and the tutorial mode is bound to them by a rule the plan cannot override, keeping how-to content sober. Umbriel and Sulafat fit testimonials, restaurants and family businesses where warmth carries. Iapetus and Aoede read corporate updates plainly. The video takes one default voice, and each scene's dialog can replace it locally, with the full Google catalogue searchable behind the eight.

How long lines are absorbed

Romanian phrasing runs longer than English for the same content, and the engine responds by growing scenes to their audio instead of trimming the voice; in the dynamic pace an overlong line completes across the next cut, which plays as flow rather than error. Your per-scene levers: delay the voice entry by seconds so the visual lands first, step the speed anywhere from 0.85x to 1.25x, or rewrite the line shorter, the most effective of the three. Music ducking is automatic at 22 percent under any speech, with a soft ramp either side, leaving no mixing chores.

Spelling choices that shape the read

Write out amounts whose spoken form you care about: nouăzeci de lei is definite, 90 lei asks the engine to decide the phrasing. Names outside Romanian get respelled by ear in the narration box, the only pronunciation tool available; Romanian's mostly phonetic spelling means the fix usually takes once. Punctuation cuts the caption cues, so a period placed early is also an editing decision. Generated narration excludes the em dash by prompt rule, worth honouring in manual edits too since Romanian copy flows better on commas than on dashes.

Captions in this script

The comma-below letters ș and ț, historically the glyphs that expose incomplete fonts, are covered by the Latin extension in every font the catalogue offers, alongside ă, â and î; captions therefore render true Romanian in each of the 21 looks. Words illuminate on the voice's own measured timing inside the fixed dark pill, which holds white text whatever the scene behind it. Romanian sentences trend long, and anything past 48 characters becomes two cues in sequence, so speech-length sentences keep the captions steadiest.

Questions people ask

Which Romanian voices exist in the product?

Eight ro-RO voices arranged in style pairs: Puck with Laomedeia for energy, Charon with Erinome for instruction, Umbriel with Sulafat for warmth, Iapetus with Aoede for neutrality. Any scene can search the entire Google catalogue from its voice dialog if the automatic eight do not fit.

Can I get Romanian narration from an English brief?

Yes. Language is a setting, not a property of the brief, so English input with Romanian selected produces a video spoken and titled in Romanian, written natively by the director. Supply verbatim Romanian only for wording that must survive exactly, like a registered slogan or menu item.

Do ș and ț display correctly in captions?

In every look, yes. Captions derive from the narration text, and each catalogue font ships the comma-below glyphs along with ă, â and î, so nothing falls back to a mismatched system font. Words light with the voice, and each scene's captions switch off independently in its voice dialog.

What fixes a mispronounced brand name?

Respell it inside the scene's narration so it reads as spoken, then regenerate that clip for about half a credit. Romanian's regular orthography makes respellings reliable; an English brand may want a vowel adjusted to sit naturally in a Romanian sentence. The caption will show the respelled text.

How many credits does narration use?

Narration is billed by length, about half a credit for a typical clip, usually one clip per scene that speaks. Edits between generations are free. The export bills its render time, usually a small amount, and needs at least 1 credit left for longer videos or whenever narration still needs synthesising at export time.
