Website admin panel with analytics and CSV
A website admin panel is the back office inside the site where the owner and staff add, edit and remove what the site shows: products, bookings, posts, members. It is only safe if visitors never reach it, and only useful if it lets staff search, export and see the numbers that matter.
An admin area per site
When staff manage rows, the AI follows its admin guide: a site admins table, a function that says whether the signed in person is an admin, and an admin area at /admin with a left menu, one entry per managed table plus a dashboard. The link to it appears only in the account menu of admins, never in the public navigation.
Guarded by the database
Every table staff manage gets an admin rule beside its visitor rules, so the guard is the database, not the hidden menu. The AI tests each managed table as an anonymous visitor, as a signed in visitor and as an admin before it finishes. The first admin is created from the contact email in your brief.
Tables, search and forms
Each table gets a list with search, sort and fifty rows at a time with Load more, Edit and Delete with a confirm, and a Create form built from the columns, with selects for fixed values, switches for yes and no, and an uploader for images. A staff page lists admins and adds new ones; only an owner removes them.
Dashboards over your own data
Ask for analytics and the AI adds views over your own tables, read through the same admin rules: tiles for today, seven and thirty days, a thirty day bar chart drawn without chart libraries, top lists such as best sellers, and low stock, with a date range picker. Page views of the published site stay in OneCraft's own stats.
CSV in and out
Ask for CSV and every admin table gets an Export button that writes a spreadsheet safe file, and an Import that maps columns by name, previews the first fifty rows with problems marked, then inserts in batches and reports created and skipped rows. CSV lives in the website's admin; a phone app gets an Admin tab without it.
How it works, in three steps
Step 1
Ask for the admin
Say who manages what: products, bookings, posts or members, and which numbers you want to see.
Step 2
Sign in as admin
Use the email and password the AI reports, change the password, and add staff.
Step 3
Publish
On a paid plan, publish; the admin works on the live site at /admin.
Limits worth knowing
- Admin access is enforced by database rules; the hidden menu is not the guard.
- CSV import and export live in the website's admin, not the app.
- The data lives in the site's own database: a hosted one on every plan, or your own Supabase account.
- The free plan builds and previews the site; publishing starts on Starter.
Questions people ask
How do I sign in to the admin?
The AI creates the first admin account from the contact email in your brief and tells you the password, which you change after signing in. The admin link appears in your account menu once you are signed in. Without a contact email in the brief, the AI asks for one.
Can I give staff limited access?
Each admin is an owner or staff, and only owners remove admins. Ask for finer roles, such as staff who see orders but not revenue, and the AI writes those rules into the database. The rules decide access, so test each role in the preview.
Is there a spreadsheet style data editor?
Not a raw one. Each table has a list with search and an edit form built for it, which is safer than editing cells directly. With a database on your own Supabase account, you can also open the project in Supabase's own table editor.
Can I see sales and bookings charts?
Yes, with the analytics capability: tiles, a thirty day chart and top lists over your own orders, bookings, sign ups and form responses, in the admin dashboard. Visits to the published site are separate, in the site's settings, counted without cookies.
Can staff use the admin on a phone?
Yes. The admin is responsive, with the menu in a slide out panel on phones. A phone app based on the website gets an Admin tab, shown only to admins, with the same lists and forms and pull to refresh.
Can I import a spreadsheet of products or members?
Yes, with the CSV capability. Import maps the spreadsheet's headers to the table's columns, shows the first fifty rows with any problems in red, then adds them in batches and reports what was created and skipped. Formulas in cells are never trusted.

Website with login: visitor accounts, Google sign in and profiles
A website with login gives visitors an account, so they can see their own bookings, orders, courses or messages and nobody else's. The hard parts are not the sign in form but the rules behind every page: who may read each row, and what a signed out visitor sees.
Add Google Maps to your website: type the address, choose the layout
Adding Google Maps to a website shows visitors exactly where you are and gives them directions in one tap. You should not need an API key or embed code for that, only the address people would type into Maps themselves.
Website version history: three layers of going back
Website version history is the list of earlier states of a site you can look at and bring back. It helps to know which layer you need: a restore in the builder for a change you regret, or a rollback of the live site to an earlier publish.
