Form questions
Festival survey questions on sound, food and safety
Ask 10 to 14 the day after the festival ends. Never skip which days they attended, whether they felt safe, and whether they would come back. Attendance lets results be split by day, safety is the organiser's first duty, and return intent is the number next year's budget leans on.
Festival survey questions need to cover more than the music: sound, food and drink, toilets and water, safety, getting there and getting home all shape whether people come back. These twenty two questions follow the festival day from arrival to leaving, with acts and stages near the start while they are still fresh.

Which questions to make required
Three are required: days attended, whether they felt safe, and whether they will come back. Days attended lets every other result be split by day, which often differ. The safety question is required because a safety problem must never go unreported for want of a click, and return intent is the headline number. Everything else is optional.
- Which days did you attend?
- Did you feel safe at the festival?
- Will you come back next year?

Three ways to change this bank
For a food and wine festival, replace the sound question with tasting stalls and serving sizes, and add responsible service of alcohol questions such as whether water was easy to get. For a family festival, add whether children's activities were suitable and whether parents could find lost child points. For a multi day camping festival, add campsite cleanliness, showers and quiet hours. Keep the safety and return questions in every version, worded the same way each year so the trend holds. Read the safety follow up answers before anything else when results come in, and pass anything serious to the security lead the same day.
Questions people ask
When should a festival survey be sent?
The day after the festival ends, while memories are fresh and before the post festival tiredness sets in. A reminder two or three days later lifts responses. Sending weeks later produces vaguer answers and lower response rates, because the details of queues, sound and transport fade fast.
How do you get festival goers to respond?
Send the link to ticket holders by email or text, keep it short, and say how long it takes. A prize draw for next year's tickets helps if the rules are clear and lawful in your state. Telling people what changed after last year's survey is the best long term encouragement.
Why ask festival goers whether they felt safe?
Safety is the organiser's first responsibility, and attendees see things staff miss, such as crowding at a gate, harassment in a queue or a dark path to the car park. A required safety question with an optional follow up gives a way to report it without having to find a complaint form.
Should festival surveys ask about spending?
Yes, in bands, because spending on site helps organisers plan vendors and shows sponsors and councils the festival's value to the local economy. Ask after the experience questions, and never ask for exact figures, which people do not know and dislike giving.
How do you survey people who only attended one day?
Ask which days they attended first, then keep the rest of the survey the same. When analysing, split results by day, because a wet Saturday and a sunny Sunday produce different scores. One survey for all ticket types keeps the data together.
Should complimentary ticket holders be surveyed?
Yes, but tag them through the ticket question so their answers can be read separately. People who did not pay may rate value differently. Volunteers and workers see the festival from another angle and are often worth a separate short survey of their own.
What should organisers do with festival feedback?
Act first on safety comments, then look at the lowest rated facilities and the most common changes requested. Share a short summary of what will change with ticket holders. Compare return intent year on year, split by first timers and regulars.

Volunteer feedback questions after an event shift
Volunteer feedback questions after an event ask whether the briefing prepared people, whether they felt supported and safe on shift, and whether they would come back. These twenty questions are short enough for a tired volunteer to answer the evening after, and keep the role question first so results can be read by team.
Exhibitor survey questions for trade show organisers
An exhibitor survey has to find out whether each stand paid for itself, and which part of the show decided that: the position, the visitors or the organiser's service. These questions ask about each one after the pavilion closes, so next year's floor plan and pricing rest on evidence rather than on the loudest complaint at bump out.
Webinar feedback questions on audio, content and next topic
Webinar feedback questions need to separate the technology from the content, because a great talk with broken audio and a smooth stream with thin content need different fixes. These twenty questions ask how people watched, how the sound and picture were, how useful and well paced the content was and what topic should come next.
