Hindi AI voiceover
Hindi gets the full eight hi-IN voices, and the director writes your entire video in Hindi from a brief in any language. Devanagari captions work word by word, and two looks, the ones built on Poppins, render the script in a real design font.
The Hindi voices, with samples
Each sample reads the same line so you can compare them fairly.

A Hindi script the way Hindi ads are written
Set Hindi in the Language field and the director composes narration and on-screen lines in Hindi natively, mixing register the way Indian advertising actually does; a brief in English works fine because only its facts are used. The locale is hi-IN, stamped into every automatic voice name. Hinglish is achievable when you want it: write the exact mixed phrasing into the brief as quotes, and the voice reads Devanagari and Latin tokens in one line. For a purely Hindi read, say so in the brief and the script stays in one script.
Eight voices and their assignments
The hi-IN locale has the full premium cast. Puck and Laomedeia bring festival-sale energy for promos and UGC spots. Charon and Erinome pace themselves for teaching, and every tutorial is required to use them; the energetic pair is blocked for instructional videos in code. Umbriel and Sulafat read warmly, the fit for family businesses and testimonials. Iapetus and Aoede stay neutral for corporate messaging. The director casts one voice for the video from your brief's tone and gender preference, and any scene can swap through its dialog, with the entire Google catalogue searchable underneath.
Making Devanagari look designed, not substituted
Captions and on-screen Hindi are always readable, since missing glyphs fall back to a system font, but fallback Devanagari beside designed Latin looks borrowed. Two looks avoid it entirely, Blossom and Retro Pop, both built on Poppins with its real Devanagari subset; alternatively keep your preferred look and change just the font to Poppins in the theme panel. This one decision affects every caption in the video. The example video linked below was rendered and checked with this in mind, which is the practical test: render one scene, look at a conjunct like क्ष, and decide.
Numbers, names and line length
Write numbers as words when the reading matters, पाँच सौ रुपये rather than ₹500, because digits leave the engine to pick a phrasing and Hindi offers several. Names outside Hindi respell into Devanagari in the narration box, the sole pronunciation control, at about half a credit per regenerated clip. Sentence punctuation, the danda included, cuts caption cues, and lines past 48 characters split into a second cue, so speech-length sentences caption best. Per scene you also hold a delay in seconds and speed steps 0.85x to 1.25x, with music self-ducking to 22 percent under the voice.
Captions in this script
Hindi writes with spaces, so captions type on word by word in step with the voice, timings measured from the clip. For the glyphs, one catalogue family matters: Poppins ships a genuine Devanagari subset, so the Blossom and Retro Pop looks, or any look after switching the video's font to Poppins in the theme panel, draw conjuncts and matras in the design's own type. Every other font family lacks Devanagari and hands the caption to the render host's fallback font, where complex conjuncts depend on that font's shaping. If a conjunct looks off in a render, shorten the line or turn the caption off for that scene.

Questions people ask
Which Hindi voices can I use?
All eight premium characters in hi-IN: Puck, Laomedeia, Charon, Erinome, Umbriel, Sulafat, Iapetus and Aoede, spanning energetic, instructional, warm and neutral styles in both genders. Beyond them, each scene's voice dialog searches the complete live Google catalogue, which carries more Hindi voices in other tiers.
Can the brief be in English?
Yes. Language is a field, not a translation request: with Hindi selected the director writes original Hindi narration and on-screen copy from your brief's facts. For Hinglish taglines or wording that must appear exactly, quote them in the brief and they are used as written.
Do Devanagari captions render correctly?
They type on word by word with the voice, and the characters are always drawn. Whether they match your design depends on the font: Poppins ships Devanagari, so the Blossom and Retro Pop looks, or any look with the font switched to Poppins, render natively; other fonts use a system fallback whose conjunct shaping varies.
How are mispronunciations fixed?
Respell the word in Devanagari inside that scene's narration so the desired sound is explicit, then regenerate the clip for about half a credit. English names inside Hindi lines often benefit from this, since the Devanagari respelling pins the vowels. The caption will show the respelled form on that scene.
What does a Hindi voiceover cost?
Narration is billed by length, about 1 credit per 330 characters with a minimum of half a credit per clip, generally one clip per narrated scene. All editing between generations is free. The export bills its render time, usually a small amount; longer videos, or exports with narration still pending, need at least 1 credit left.

Tamil AI voiceover
Tamil narration uses the ta-IN locale with its full set of eight premium voices, the director writing every spoken and on-screen line in Tamil. Tamil's long words shape caption wrapping, and the script itself renders via a fallback font, detailed below.
Bengali AI voiceover
Bengali resolves to bn-IN, the Indian Bengali locale, with the full eight premium voices and a director that scripts the whole video in Bengali. Captions time word by word; the Bengali script itself is drawn by a fallback font, covered honestly below.
Urdu AI voiceover
Urdu maps to ur-IN, so the accent is Indian Urdu rather than Pakistani, with all eight premium voices present. The script is right to left, which the captions honour, though the Perso-Arabic glyphs come from a fallback font rather than the look's own.
