What you fill in

The template, in full

[Date], [Client name], Member [Member number], [Client address], Dear [Client name],

Your membership price is changing on [Effective date]

From [Effective date] the price of your membership goes up. It is the first change in three years and the only one planned for 2027, and you have 60 days notice, so the first payment at the new rate is the debit on [Effective date].

Yours is Full access, fortnightly, so your payment moves from $42.00 to $46.00, which is $104 more over a year. It covers the lifting platforms and heavier dumbbells installed in October, a second evening coach from 4pm to 8pm, and two years of rent and power rises we absorbed.

What is not changing. Your opening hours, your 24 hour access fob, the free weekly class, the 7 day pause you can take twice a year, and the notice period to cancel, which stays at 14 days. There is no joining fee and no contract to re-sign.

If it does not work for you, two things you can do before [Date]. Switch to off peak at $34.00, which covers 5am to 3pm on weekdays and all weekend, or pay yearly at $1,060 and lock that rate until February 2028. Either is one email to [Email], or catch me on the floor most mornings.

Yours sincerely,, [Your name], Owner, [Your company]
