Interior design proposal template
Interior design proposal template
Interior clients pay for taste and for coordination. This interior design proposal template prices both: four design stages from measured survey to construction drawings, then procurement management, with a purchases clause that keeps furniture invoices between the client and each supplier.

Questions people ask
What stages are in the interior design fee?
Concept at $4,800, design development at $7,200, documentation at $5,600 and procurement management at $3,500. A styling day at $2,400 is optional. The sample totals $23,210 with GST, and a 30 percent deposit of $6,963 secures the start date when the client accepts.
How are furniture and finishes purchased?
The purchases clause has each supplier invoice the client directly, or you pay from an approved budget when ordering on their behalf. Lead times and returns follow each supplier's own terms. Your table prices design and management only, never the goods themselves.
How many rounds of changes are included?
One round per stage. Changes after a stage is signed off, or a change to the brief or budget, are quoted before any redesign starts. If the engagement ends early, finished stages are paid in full and a stage in progress is billed for the hours worked at your hourly rate.
What will the client receive?
A spatial plan and concept presentation, finishes, fixtures and furniture schedules, construction and joinery drawings, 3D views of key spaces, and procurement management with the styling day. The concept presentation lands in week three and documentation is issued in week ten.
Can I turn this into a residential or a commercial proposal?
The description covers both. For a home, describe the rooms and the household in the generator; for a fit out, describe the tenancy and the brand. The AI keeps the four stages and writes the needs, approach and deliverables for the space you describe, with your own fees as price hints.
