Tradie quote template for call-out jobs
A homeowner reading a call-out quote wants three numbers: what it costs to turn up, the hourly rate and the parts. This tradie quote template keeps them on separate lines, adds an optional upgrade the customer can tick, and fits on two pages with the terms.
4 sections, 4 priced items (1 optional), AUD with GST, no deposit, valid 14 days

Questions people ask
What is on the quote by default?
A call-out at $165, two hours of labour at $110 an hour and parts at $240. With GST that is $687.50. A safety switch upgrade at $320 is listed as optional, so the customer sees the price but it only joins the total if they select it.
Does this quote take a deposit?
No. Small call-out jobs are usually paid on the day, so the payment clause asks for payment on completion by card or bank transfer and says an invoice is issued on the day. Accepting the quote online creates one invoice due in 14 days, which you can mark paid when the customer pays on site.
What if I find more work once I am on site?
The extra work clause covers it: anything beyond the quoted scope is quoted and agreed with the customer on site before it starts, and access problems or hidden defects may add time at the hourly rate. Rewrite the clause if you charge a minimum for a second visit.
Is the template only for electricians?
No. It is written for an electrician, plumber or handyman, with a scope line for the job description and site address in brackets. The optional safety switch line is an electrical example; replace it with a tap, valve or hot water part to suit the trade.
What warranty does it give?
Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months and parts carry the manufacturer warranty. The scope list also promises a licensed tradesperson, testing and a compliance certificate where required, and removal of old parts and packaging, so the customer can see what the call-out includes.
