Terms
1. Payment. A 30 percent deposit secures the start date and materials. The balance is due within 7 days of completion.
2. Variations. Rock, services or roots found below ground that change the work are priced as a variation and agreed before we continue.
3. Plants and turf. Plants are guaranteed for 60 days when watered as instructed. Substitutes of similar size and type may be used when a listed plant is unavailable.
4. Weather. Work paused by rain or extreme heat resumes on the next workable day and the completion date moves by the same number of days.
5. Validity. This quote is valid for 21 days.

Questions people ask
How are paving and turf priced?
By area. Paving is 20 square metres at $145 and turf is 40 square metres at $32, with site preparation at $1,800 and garden beds and planting at $2,600. The sample totals $9,438 with GST. Drip irrigation and lawn sprinklers at $2,200 are an optional line the client can add.
What does the 30 percent deposit cover?
The payment clause says the deposit secures the start date and the materials, and the balance is due within 7 days of completion. On the sample the deposit is $2,831.40. Accepting online issues the deposit invoice and keeps the balance invoice as a draft until the job is done.
What if we hit rock or tree roots?
The variations clause prices rock, services or roots found below ground as a variation, agreed before work continues. The weather clause moves the completion date by the number of days lost to rain or extreme heat. Both protect a fixed price on a job you cannot see under.
Is there a plant guarantee?
Plants are guaranteed for 60 days when watered as instructed, and substitutes of similar size and type may be used when a listed plant is unavailable. The scope paragraph refers to an attached plant list, so attach it or add the plants to the scope before sending.
How long is the quote valid?
Twenty one days, set in the validity clause and in the reference block at the top, which shows the reference number, the date, valid until and who the quote is prepared for. Set the valid until date in the Pricing panel before sending; once it passes, the link no longer accepts.
