Loyalty program flyer
Copperline runs the simplest loyalty scheme there is, a paper card with ten stamps, and the flyers lean into that rather than apologising for it. One is a poster built around the card itself. One maps the six things a card holder gets, including two that have nothing to do with stamps. The third prints the entire terms of the scheme on one page, with the date they were adopted, so there is no link that can quietly change.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

What makes these work
The poster shows the card, because the card is the product
Ten of ten stamps rendered on the card graphic, then four short lines about what joining costs, which is nothing. A scheme with no app has one enormous advantage in a poster, which is that the thing being advertised fits in the picture.
The benefits map admits two perks are not member only
The keep cup discount applies whether or not you hold a card. Saying so on the member flyer costs nothing and buys the other five claims their credibility, because a reader who catches one overstated benefit stops believing the rest of the hexagon.
The terms sheet exists because most terms are a link
The whole scheme reduces to one printed line, and the sheet carries the date it was adopted along with a promise that old cards run out on old terms. That is the flyer answer to the complaint the ACCC found across the industry, which was schemes changing what members had already earned.
Questions people ask
What did the ACCC find wrong with loyalty schemes?
Its 2019 final report found terms and conditions that were long and hard to understand, schemes changing those terms unilaterally in ways that may be unfair, and data collection that did not match what members expected. Only six per cent of consumers said they read all of the terms. It recommended prominent notice before points expire and a genuine chance to redeem before any cut to what has already been earned.
Can a business change loyalty terms whenever it likes?
Not freely. A term allowing one party alone to vary the contract is one of the examples of a potentially unfair contract term in the Australian Consumer Law, and since 9 November 2023 proposing or relying on an unfair term in a standard form consumer contract is itself a contravention carrying penalties rather than merely making the term void.
Does a loyalty program have to collect personal information?
No. A paper stamp card collects nothing at all, which is the point the third flyer makes. Where a scheme does collect, the Privacy Act rules apply, and the regulator expects collection to be reasonably necessary for the business’s functions rather than merely helpful or convenient. The honest trade off is that a card with no record behind it cannot be replaced when it is lost.
Do gift card expiry rules apply to loyalty points?
No. The three year minimum applies to gift cards, and customer loyalty programs are one of the listed exemptions from those rules. That makes the expiry position a matter of the scheme’s own terms, which is exactly why a flyer that states plainly that stamps do not expire while the shop trades is doing something a legal minimum does not require.

App launch flyer
Paddock Run maps roadside stalls and farm gates and shows only the ones a grower has marked open in the past day. Its launch flyers avoid the two things app posters usually do, which are showing a screenshot nobody can read at arm’s length and promising a feature list. Instead: one flyer explains the rule that makes the map trustworthy, one announces the release, and one lists in order every piece of data the app asks for.
Mothers Day flyer
Mothers Day is the busiest day in a florist year and the one where the most goes wrong, because the promise is a bouquet arriving at a particular house on a particular Sunday. Wren & Willow work out of one shop in Thornbury with one van, so the three flyers below split the job: prices on the first, delivery rules on the second, and on the third nothing but the shop, the date and how recently the flowers were cut. All three carry the same four tiers and the same order by date, and none of them promises a delivery hour.
End of financial year sale flyer
Every end of financial year flyer in the country leads with a percentage. Calder Workspace fits offices out, so the number that actually decides whether a buyer orders is not the discount, it is the date a desk has to be built and standing in the room. All three of these designs are organised around 12 June and 30 June, and the reductions come second.
