Law firm flyer for fixed fee conveyancing and wills
A law firm flyer works when it turns a frightening unknown, the legal bill, into a number printed beside the service. These three designs for Quillmere Legal, a fictional practice in Sydney NSW, put purchase conveyancing at $1,100 fixed, wills from $350 and a free 30 minute first consultation on the page, with the Law Society membership line where a careful reader looks for it.
The 3 designs
The same business laid out three ways, on three templates and three colour themes. Every price, name and time on these was written for this example, so you can judge the layouts on real content rather than placeholder text.

The three designs
The firm profile design is a calm, teal and slate layout with the headline "Home purchase $1,100 fixed, wills from $350" in a block, a fee promise quote, three large figures ($1,100, $350, 30 min) and three cards for conveyancing, wills and estates, and leases. Use it as the main A4 flyer for a letterbox drop near new housing estates, or as a LinkedIn post for referrers such as agents and brokers. The practice areas design is darker and more energetic, with two photos of documents being signed and a big "FIXED FEE LEGAL WORK" headline, and suits a Facebook post aimed at first home buyers. The fees design is the reference sheet: the full fixed fee table, the hours and the membership line. Print it for the reception desk and hand it to anyone who asks "how much will it be".
What this flyer must carry
A law firm flyer should name the practice areas in plain words, give a price or a clear pricing basis for the routine matters, state what the price excludes, say how to book and when the office is open, and identify the firm as a legal practice. Quillmere does each of these: conveyancing, wills and leases; fixed fees with GST included; disbursements at cost; a phone number and office hours; and a Law Society of NSW member line. In New South Wales, solicitors practise under the Legal Profession Uniform Law, which requires costs disclosure in writing for most matters, and the Office of the Legal Services Commissioner handles complaints about costs. Advertising personal injury services is restricted in NSW, so a firm that adds that area should check the rules before it prints a word about it.
How to adapt this flyer
For a regional practice, add a line about remote signing and settlement through the online property exchange, since many clients will never visit the office. For a family law firm, replace the fee table with a first steps list and a fixed fee for a consent orders package, because most family matters cannot be priced from a flyer. For an estates practice running a wills week, keep the fees design, cut the table to wills, powers of attorney and guardianship, and put the event dates in the chip at the top. Keep the membership line and the disbursements caption in every version.
What makes these work
The fee table says what each price covers
The fees design lists seven matters with a fixed fee and a "what it covers" column: purchase conveyancing $1,100 from contract review to settlement, a single will $350 with safe custody, enduring guardianship $250. A caption under the table says searches, registration fees and stamp duty are passed on at cost, so nobody reads $1,100 as the whole cost of buying a house.
The first consultation is free and timed
Every design says 30 minutes, not just "free consultation". A time limit tells the reader what they are getting and tells the solicitor when the meter starts, which avoids the awkward invoice that open ended free advice creates.
Membership sits beside the name
The firm profile design prints "Member of the Law Society of NSW" directly under the headline, and the practice areas design puts it in the logo tagline. A legal reader checks credentials before prices, so the line goes where the eye lands second.
Questions people ask
Can a solicitor advertise a fixed fee for conveyancing?
Yes. A fixed fee is a costs estimate the client can rely on, and the Uniform Law still requires written costs disclosure when the matter starts. The flyer should say what the fee covers and what is passed on at cost, such as searches, registration fees and stamp duty, so the advertised number does not mislead. Quillmere prints both the fee and the exclusions.
Should a law firm flyer show the solicitor's photo?
Only a real photo of your own lawyers, and only if you are comfortable with it. A stock face beside a legal service reads as a person who does not work there. These designs use photos of documents and hands signing, which say "contracts" without pretending to be the team. Add your own portrait in place of either photo once the flyer is saved.
What hours and contact details should a legal flyer include?
The hours the phone is answered, not just when the office is unlocked, plus one phone number, an email and a street address if clients visit. Quillmere prints Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday mornings by appointment. If after hours calls go to a message service, say so, because a person with an urgent matter reads that line closely.
Is a LinkedIn post version useful for a law firm?
For referral work, yes. Real estate agents, mortgage brokers and accountants send conveyancing and wills clients to solicitors they trust, and they see LinkedIn more than letterboxes. Each of these designs has a native LinkedIn post layout at 1200 by 627 pixels, so the fixed fee headline stays readable in the feed instead of shrinking an A4 page.
Where should a law firm hand out flyers?
Where legal moments begin: display homes and land sales offices for conveyancing, retirement villages and community centres for wills, and business chambers for leases. A letterbox drop near new estates also works, using the unaddressed mail options that let you choose delivery areas. Keep a stack of the fees design at reception, since people often take one home to compare.
