Sales and procurement e-signature examples
A deal is agreed in a meeting and lost in the week it takes to get the paperwork back. Each example here is a real envelope signed end to end, showing the fields, the signing order and the record it leaves behind.

Two sides, and usually more than two signers
Sales and procurement envelopes almost always cross an organisational boundary, which means a signature block on each side and often a second signer inside one of them. A master services agreement signed by a director on one side and a procurement lead on the other behaves differently from an order form that one authorised buyer accepts. The examples here show both shapes, including where a company executes through two officers. Each page prints the signature block lines exactly as they were configured, which is limited to name, title, company and date, so what appears on the signed page is never a surprise.
Speed against proof
The tension in this group is that the faster a deal closes the less verification anybody wants to add. A proposal acceptance or an order form usually goes out with an email link and nothing else, because a lost sale costs more than a weak signature. A distribution or supplier agreement that will govern years of trading is worth an access code or an emailed one time code, and the examples show what that adds to the certificate. Signing order matters here too: a sequential envelope lets the seller see the buyer's acceptance before committing, while an unordered one closes faster.
What each page gives you
Every page names the document being signed, lists each field and who fills it, sets out the signing flow step by step in the order the envelope enforced, and explains the verification choice. Where the document itself already has a page under document examples, the signing page links there rather than repeating the wording. The frequently asked questions cover the practical edges: whether a typed signature holds, what happens when somebody declines, and how long a signing link stays live, which is thirty days and cannot be changed in the interface.

- Sign a business proposal online
A proposal is accepted, not negotiated, so the envelope that carries it needs one signer and one page of fields. This one puts a marked option, a signature, a typed title and a stamped date on the acceptance page of the Northshore Digital proposal from the documents examples, and leaves every earlier page clean so the client reads the price before reaching the pen.
- Sign a distribution agreement online
Exclusivity in a distribution agreement rests on two things: the boundary of the territory and the volume that earns it. This envelope puts an initials box under the territory schedule and its two carve outs, a typed box for the minimum annual order value, and a signature block for each company on the execution page, behind an access code for the distributor.
- Sign a master services agreement online
A master services agreement commits nobody to any work, so the pages people actually negotiate are the charges clause and the liability cap. This envelope carries the Ridgeway Data framework from the documents examples with the client's initials on exactly those two pages, an access code shared out of band before the client can open it, and a company block for each side on the execution page.
- Sign a sales contract online
A sales contract is argued about three pages before the signature page, on the price, the delivery window and the warranty. This four page envelope puts the customer's initials on each of those pages before the execution block, runs a six digit emailed code in front of the whole thing, and finishes with two company blocks side by side on page 4.
- Sign a service agreement online
A service agreement that starts on a fixed date does not need its two signatures in any particular order, so making one party wait for the other only costs a day. This envelope carries the Beacon Systems managed IT agreement from the documents examples with Sign in order off, both invitations sent in the same minute, and an optional purchase order box the client fills in its own words.
- Sign a supplier agreement online
A three year supply agreement is signed once and then argued about for three years, usually over the price review mechanism or a missed service level. This envelope puts the supplier's initials on each of the five pages that carry those terms, requires a six digit emailed code from both companies, and finishes with a signature block for each side on page 6.
- Sign an order form online
An order form is a quotation waiting for two numbers: the quantity on each line and a signature under it. This envelope turns the Sandbar Safety Supplies quotation into an order by giving the buyer a typed box in each line of the product table, then a signature on the next page, with the account manager countersigning to release the order to the warehouse.
